Founded in the kitchen of Steve Poses, acclaimed restaurant Frog, Frog Commissary is a privately held, family-run company and a cornerstone of the Philadelphia region culinary life. Under the direction of Poses and Christina Sterner, the firm employs over 200 people and operates out of The Franklin Institute, one of the most distinguished museums in the world. In addition to serving as The Institute’s exclusive caterer, Frog Commissary caters events off-site in private homes and desirable locations throughout the tri-state area. Frog Commissary also provides premium food experiences at several restaurants for the museum-goers at The Franklin Institute.

Since opening its catering division in 1973, Frog immediately set a new standard. The expected was replaced by the unexpected. The company quickly gained attention for its restaurant-caliber food; personal, attentive service; consistency and dependability.
