Amazing place they have all kinds of lumber! They supply our company with just about everything from cedar wood to framing material for patio covers!
These guys saved the day! Will.iam is the man! Go here they will take care of you
Finally, they hired a female named Heather! She was excellent at helping me with my purchase. I've been in the carpentry business in Denver for over 28 years. I think since I'm a female, the men at this location try to ignore me. But now I have Heather who helped me immediately! Thanks, Heather!
Purchased lumber for a project today. Heather was VERY helpful. FRLCO has top service, high quality stock, and very competitive pricing. Thank you!
John Sr was so very helpful in helping me track down two POs from a deck job we had done in 2014. First, that tells me his bookeeping is tight, and, second, that tells me he values customer service, which corporate America is sorely lacking. Thank you, John
As our projects scope grew, we had to come back to Front Range Lumber a number of times and the products were always well priced and excellent quality. The delivery options are great and it saves you the hassle of a very busy front office on the weekends. We will be going back again.
I've always purchased lumber at a big box retailer, but recently started a deck project that would require some sizes not available at the big box store. I decided to try out a lumber yard and went with FRLC, and glad I did! Friendly and helpful staff, good prices, plenty of inventory and they had me in and out in a very short time. I came back for a second load and had the same experience. I'll definitely be buying my lumber here going forward.
Quite easily, the worst customer service that I experienced from a company in a very long time. It started with me calling and asking if they had a certain color of Trex decking in stock - the person answering the phone spent 3 minutes telling me how it would be hard to find and I should pick another color. After asking him nicely multiple times to just check and see if he had anything in stock or could check with his suppliers, he frustratedly told me that he would check and finally gave me a call back 10 minutes later to tell me that they had it in stock at their northern office. He told me that they do daily shipments from that office and would have it in store the next day, and that they would call me in when the order arrived. I didn't receive a phone call for a couple of days, so I called the office to check on the status of my order. The person answering the phone barked at me that if they didn't call me, it means my order was not in. I asked them to check anyway, and after being on hold for a couple minutes, the gentleman told me that my order was in fact in and ready to be picked up. Upon arriving for pickup, they made me pay for everything up front before I could check my order, and when I pulled around out back I learned that they shipped the wrong color. They told me that they would correct it and have it in store the next day. The next day I called, and the person told me that it "probably" was on the shipment that would arrive later that afternoon. I asked him if there was any way to confirm that, and he told me there wasn't. I then proceeded to call their northern office, and even that office couldn't find my order right away. But, when they did, the quantity number was off and they also couldn't confirm if the order was on the truck coming down. I finally got a call back later that afternoon from the Lakewood office telling me that my trex was not on the recent shipment and would likely be in the following business week. The following business week, I once again had to take the initiative and call the office because no one ever gave me a phone call back this entire time when they promised they would. I was told that my shipment was accidentally sent to WYOMING, and it would likely be on a shipment coming in the next day. I really wish that I could have just demanded a reimbursement at this point, but they had already taken full payment for my order. Reading about their history with restocking fees and horrible customer service with "returns", I also didn't want to start yet another argument with them. After initially being promised in order that would be there the next day, I ended up getting my order 2 and 1/2 weeks later. I was also charged for labor for cutting the Trex, when I didn't need it cut in the end. The associate told me that he would reimburse me for the labor charges for cutting the Trex, but... surprise, surprise! I've yet to see a reimbursement on my credit card for the labor charges. It was only a $10 charge and, at this point, it's not even worth it to have to deal with this company again to get that $10 back. I never plan on using this company again and will make sure that no one I know ever does as well. I wish I was making all this up and simply elaborating on what happened, but this is an abbreviated version of my experience. Every step of the way, every person I spoke with gave off an attitude like they could care less about what was going on. I had seen the previous reviews of this company and their poor customer service, but never expected that I would experience the same thing. Hopefully, if someone is reading this, they take my advice to just simply stay far away from this company.
Great products and very helpful associates. I don't buy from anywhere else ever, under any circumstances!
Quality exotic lumber including thicknesses suitable for woodturning. I've had great success turning plates from 4/4 too
