We did a night of viewing and the staff was so helpful and informed. A bit cold, but definitely worthwhile, with a variety of telescopes. Price was excellent as well. Be forewarned, it is very out of the way if you live anywhere else on Rhode Island than nearby.
The observatory is open most Fridays weather permits. Very nice and knowledgeable staff and volunteers! Answering your questions as much as they can. Will definitely go back sometime!
We saw Saturn's rings for the first time and it was awesome! Very friendly, helpful and enthusiastic staff.
This is a neat place to star gaze. It was my first time seeing Saturn. It is very cool! Also, this is a great place to go on a no frill/creative date. It is kid friendly as well. Thank you Frosty Drew for making the experience possible!
One of my favorite places in RI. The scientists are amazing and happy to answer all the questions my son has. A must visit place, be sure to bring a red light flashlight, cash donationsuggested $5/ person and be sure to dress warm if visiting on cold nights it can get cold waiting in line outside.
All i wanted to do was get in contact with someone to give me insight on whether or not the frost dew nature center is open and no one answered . I made 10 separate phone calls. I am disappointed and will never go there until there is better communication and for someone to pick up the phone when the facility is open.
