What a great experience and delicious, beautifully presented sushi. Sweet Shrimp was so pretty! They gifted me with a little cucumber dish and the most perfectly sized chocolate dessert morsel I’ve ever had in a restaurant. The interior was warm and cozy, and very clean and tidy. The service was top notch. And the prices were SO reasonable, especially post-COVID. I appreciated the sake carafe prices mostly. The perfect sushi experience. Can’t wait to come back when I visit.

Really enjoyed my time here. Food is decent, however, their customer service is pretty much top-notched. I really liked my specialty rolls, but spicy tuna was little off wish it was more spicy. Their dining area is very open and their kitchen is visibly clean.

Fuji Yama is my favorite sushi restaurant in Virginia Beach. All staffs are nice there, especially the boss. She is super nice and did care about people. Every time I came, she will chat with me. She makes sure all food and sushi are fresh. Dragon Roll, Friday Night, Twin Tower are the rolls that I order most often. Dragon roll has cucumber, crab meet, tuna inside, and avocado, eel, and roe on the top. Friday Night has shrimp tempura, crabmeat and seaweed inside, which is really special. I have never tried the rolls with seaweed in other restaurants. Twin Tower is my favorite, there are shrimp tempura an ell inside, crab meat and avocado on the top. Takoyaki is off-menu dish. It’s only available when the boss is here. But I do think it’s the signature dish. You can ask if it’s available. If I can rate 10 stars, I’ll definitely do. Recommend this restaurant to everyone who comes to Virginia Beach

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. The food is amazing. I had the Tuna Tataki, sashimi dinner and Sushi Eel. All the fish taste very fresh and high grade. They are cut well and generous in portion. Beautiful presentation. Friendly service. Currently eating at the bar is closed. My only disappointment is: I'm in a beautiful Japanese restaurant going to eat Japanese food and I have to listen to English pop song just spoil the Japanese ambiance. It's like going to Olive Garden and hear Japanese music playing. LOL. If you don’t mind the song, then the food is great. Enjoy.

Staff was excellent. Menu was extensive. The cucumber salad is fabulous. I love the perfectly made rolls. For improvement : The room is a bit too red. Spicy mayo could be a bit more spicy.Food: 4/5

Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful and attentive staff, but the best part is the SUSHI. So fresh and yummy! At a really good price, what more could you possibly ask for. Me and my boyfriend loved it. Highly recommend to sushi lovers.

We wanted a sushi night on our vacation and found this place on Yelp. My wife, kids and I love sushi. The place is clean inside and the service was very good. The sushi was great. We enjoyed everything we ordered. Very nice place to enjoy sushi.

We had a very nice lunch here. The service was very freiendly and answered all of our questions. The food was very good especially the sunset and christmas tree rolls. We definitely will be back.
