It was good! Between average-great. Not that impressive in first trial- maybe next time..but the wait line is pretty long and not sure if it was worth waiting. Chicken was defintely crispy and juicy, but bit salty in my opinion. Too much pepper! Maybe they rushed making it but fries had too much jalapeño powder and it was not evenly seasoned...
There's a lot to choose from the menu. Service is friendly and the food comes out quickly. The sandwich was delicious, although the chicken was slightly stringy, and the lemonade was a little on the bland side a little more sugar would have helped. Appreciate the free refills.
Delicious juicy crispy chicken. It was the first time I'd had such a huge piece of fried chicken breast that was both juicy and tasty. Amazing! Loses 1 star for sticky seats
Loud music. Fried chicken. Slow service. Unfortunately that combo doesn’t live up to the excellent hand battered dark meat sandwiches with slaw or bacon and ranch. Prices are borderline high for what is offered. Still, a worthy Friday indulgence.
Been coming here since it opened. Wish the chimek was still an option that's a 4.5 star rating. The chicken sandwiches are good but feel a little overpriced. The new chicken boxes - the chicken itself is kinda bland, but the sides are good though please, up the fried chicken game in these
Came here for an early lunch on a weekday and got here before the lunch rush came. My order took a bit long, but probably because the kitchen was just starting up for lunch. I ordered: Koreano Spicy Chicken Sandwich + daikon - $9, loved the fried chicken and how the pickled daikon complemented the spiciness Fuku Fries - $3, not sure what the seasoning was made out of but it tasted so good and made me feel nostalgic for some reason haha Definitely want to come back and try the Chimek!
Quality control issues are too much. Sometimes the sandwich is heavenly, sometimes it is dry, sometimes they don’t have the chimek, and then you show up two days later and it isn’t $42, it’s $65 for the same thing. Too unpredictable. Also really could be a lot cleaner. Needs a good manager.
Friendly customer service and the place has a great trendy vibrant vibe. Unfortunately, I just didn't enjoy the chicken. Not sure if it was a bad batch or just not to my taste. Kind of overdone on the outside to the point it was dark brown but possibly undercooked near the bone.
Fuku's chimek, which consists of two different flavored fried chicken, fries, daikon, and kimchi, was great! Chicken is crispy and juicy at the same time. The kimchi and daikon complements the chicken very well. Fuku also serves alcohol. I highly recommend the lychee soju slushie, Ramona grapefruit sprtiz, and hite. Chimek means chicken and beer in korean so having beer with chicken is a must!
Whether the chicken fingers were world class is debate worthy but the spicy Thai sauce and the friendly service - unbeatable.
