I tried the deep fried eel and beef stew. Both of them were great!

Small Japanese spot with shared plates and homestyle soups, along with a few sushi options. The chicken wings are awesome, definitely get a few regardless of any other items you order. Small sake most, but some decent options. Friendly and fast service.

Came here after visiting Whitney museum. Excellent vibe! The chef was attentive. Food was delicious and fresh. And the plum wine was super tasty. Love it:

Great food in a cozy place

One of my favorite restaurants in NYC so far. Food was absolutely delicious and I can't wait to return and try new dishes.

Been here many times- it’s a solid Japanese comfort food restaurant, especially for the price point. Service is usually great as well.

Interesting and delicious dishes. Not your average sushi place. Very reasonable prices too.
