Story

Fulton Cultural also known as “MADAWA” is the Super Religious Store founded in 1962. Located at the heart of BedStuy Stuyvesant, in Downtown Brooklyn, New York.

“MADAWA” means Spiritual market place for associations of traditional Medicine Healers. Fulton Cultural has been serving the community for five decades at its 3400 Sq ft retail outlet. Since then, we are grateful for the opportunity and to the Community we have been serving more then one generation and counting.

Catering traditionally to a Caribbean & African American ethnicity, with a diverse African and South American religious background, Fulton is now expanding it services and product lines to the growing Hispanic and Caucasian descent living in our surrounding with diverse religious backgrounds.

Fulton Cultural is not only a Religious item supplier but also a cultural center where most of our customer share similar traditions and also relay to each other’s roots through various representations.

The goal of our company is to educate (self help books available), advice (Spiritual Reading), provide quality products (Our own line of Products) and give an outstanding customer service.

We have a qualified staff, with various religious backgrounds as well enabling us to share different values with our customers. We strive to maintain the core values on which the company was built: Quality, integrity and customer service.

I was on the light for long time although only 3 people I front of me I had to waute a half hour. But the owner and his daughter and wife were very nice and helpful. I got a free soap for 20$ spend on candle. They blessed my candle and well packaging.
My only complaint is the wait time. They need more staff at least one more person to help behind the counter
Maurice is the best very knowledgeable on what you need RB
I love this store amazing service and ms Julia is the best she's amazing and takes her time with you...i recommend this place 5 stars for me
Although I love going to this spot. You CANNOT go in here when you have a time restraint. There is a large variety of candles, oils and herbs. There are even knowledgeable people to consult on your purchases. So for that they are great. I've never been in here less than 30 mins no matter what I purchase.
Store does not open at 10 am... it was my last day in NYC and I came to fulton culture to pick up a few last minute things... waited there until 11 am and they were still closed...very disappointed
They have everything I need but once the light skin lady passed away the energy in there is off. The ppl in there don't truly know what they are doing
