Small but quite enjoyable theme park. We bring our son every year for the veterans Memorial Day weekend special (veterans are free and family is half price). The place isn’t usually very packed and one can get a lot of rides in and find benches to rest. I haven’t been in the midst of summer, so I can’t speak to the amount of people at that time, but New England theme parks are generally not very crowded at the beginning of the season. There are rides for all ages, games, arcades, food vendors, and friendly staff. I recommend the log flume ride; I loved it as a kid, and I love riding it with my son thirty years later. The only drawback is the lack of updates year to year, but that would not be noticed if only visiting occasionally. I proudly recommend Funtown.

It is EARLY in the 2018 Summer season & only the non waterslide rides are open so far. I am lucky to be able to work at this location when I am not working at my main job base in NH. I get excited to meet visitors and school groups and go to work there every chance I get! What a great place to go!!

My family and I try to make it here at least once a year. It is a great place to bring a family. There is an awesome family-friendly atmosphere here. There is so much to do in the water park for all ages. There is also lots of rides in the regular park with a dedication to the handicapped also. The prices are fair just plan to spend a whole day to get the most out of it and be able to experience everything.

A fun day of rides and games. Some amusements are a little tired and getting grungy. But it a Maine institution and with the trip for that old school carnival atmosphere.
