After many failed attempts with other recruiters, I am so happy I did not give up and gave Gainor a chance. I worked with Katie Dai and she was like a breath of fresh air. She was attentive and so helpful from the start. I was provided opportunities that aligned with my experience and also with what potential employers were looking for. The process for me gaining employment did not take long at all. I had a few interviews and received a job offer right away. I’ve been at my new position for 2 months with no complaints. I told my recruiter Katie D. that I did not like where she placed me. She kept pushing for one firm when I told her what my prospects and goals were. She kept pushing for the boutique start-up company. Even the manager, whomever he is, was like its not that bad. Ive placed people there before and they love it. Meanwhile, im getting a different story from the candidate but thats not my concern. When my probationary window concluded, they let me go. THANK GOD!! Only she had her co-worker inform me of the lay-off and after the lay-off I never heard from my recruit again. She didn't listen to me when I 1st told her I didn't like it there and wanted to leave. She kept telling me to just stick it out and things may change. I personally wouldn't recommend them.
