Stephon came out to assess the problem with the door, which was the motor. They were able to schedule a Saturday appointment to accommodate my schedule from being out of town. George was very professional and courteous, he installed a new motor and accompany arts, wall and door openers, ensured the remote controls worked and that I was able to use the app and connect it to Amazon delivery. He explained how long the job would take when he arrived and cleaned everything up. He asked if he could place the company contact information on the wall near the opener, prior to sticking it on and he gave me advice on the second door and when to replace anything. George called to say he was running late. It would have been nice to get a call back stating he was still delayed and provide an updated ETA.

Our garage door would not open and my car was stuck inside. Called Garage Door Nova late at night and was able to talk to someone to schedule an appointment for the next day. Curtis was our technician and he was great! He arrived at our house and immediately inspected our garage door to identify the problems and was able to fix the springs and cables the same day! Curtis got our garage door working like brand new and operating quieter than ever! He was great for those working from home, my husband was taking work calls but Curtis was able to work independently, quickly, and quietly. Curtis was straight to the point, showed us our options and provided recommendations without trying to pressure us or upcharge like some other companies do. Overall, the service was quick, price was fair, and Curtis was excellent. I highly recommend.

I found this company via a Google search for garage door servicing companies in the DMV. My garage door spring broke on a Sunday, got a Monday appt! The technician, Curtis, showed up at the specified time, knew exactly what the issue was. I’m a retired Air Force aircraft maintainer, so I can tell when a technician knows what they’re doing. Curtis was very detail oriented, professional, and courteous. Garage door repair and functional checks were completed thoroughly, in a minimal amount of time. OUTSTANDING!

We recently had our broken garage door spring replaced by Garage Door Nova, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. Before contacting GDN, we consulted with two other companies, but we were far from impressed. The first company was a complete joke – the technician showed up with sagging pants, no uniform, and gave us very little transparency. I had to ask so many follow-up questions just to understand what was going on, only to find out they were a third party sent to our home. The second company, which is well-known, was shockingly overpriced. They literally itemized everything in what should have been a kit and charged us for each part. It was clear the technician knew I’d caught on to their ridiculous pricing tactics. Thankfully, my neighbor referred us to GDN and even shared his quote with us. As homeowners, my husband and I consider more than just the price—we look at reviews, the professionalism and knowledge of the technician, and how well they communicate.
