Garden of Eden

Convenience store which offers a variety of selection. I went in for a slice of cheesecake at the bakery. Friendly staff. I recommend.

This place is very big n they have a buffet where u can take n pay n there deli food it's fresh here too. They even have gluten free n other dietary stuff there

This place garden of eden on 14th close to 5th Ave is very racist. As soon as I walked in I saw the manager stare at me. I went to a section of where the chips were. Something told me to turn around and the black security in there was behind me watching me. I said to myself this is getting weird. I left the chips section then went by the cookie section for some snacks. Then I see the manager again staring at me. At this point I cant even focus on what i want now. I went around the corner and security was standing right there like i was stealing. So I picked up some cookies so I can leave this store. I already had a cvs bag from across the street with popcorn in it. I went to the counter, paid for my very expensive cookies and as I was walking out I got stopped by the manager asking if I paid for the popcorn. I asked why sir? Is it because I'm the only black person in the store. Mind you the store is packed. He didn't answer. I asked to call the cops then, but I was on my lunch break and had to get back to work. So I just pulled out the popcorn asked if this was his. He goes "oh no that's not ours". I go I know. You just stopped me and profiled me because I'm black. This is getting ridiculous now. It's obvious they don't want blacks in that store, because I told my coworker this story who is white. And said they did the same thing to his wife.... who is black. Something needs to be done about this. This is the racist manager right here:

Lots of healthy options. Plenty of spices. The pastry is wonderful and delicious. Vegetables not the cheapest in the zone. Experience is superb!

Real garden and lots of greenery to eat ; very well organized and stocked delicatessen, first time I bought kimchi with turnips, prices a bit higher than in other stores but I recommend it anyway

This place is very racist indeed. I used to come in here all the time and spend my hard earned money even though the stares felt uncomfortable, I would just ignore it. First it was one guy doing it mightve been the manager and then they hired a black security guard to make it look like the stares had nothing to do about race. Other people would come in and not get harassed but I would get singled out. I confronted the security guard about it and he said if you don't like it here then shop somewhere else. I've never felt so uncomfortable going to a grocery store.
