Very slow with making appointments. They do not schedule appointments after your initial visit, you have to call them and remind them. They make the process as drawn out as they can. When you need surgery, they’ll schedule a consultation instead of the surgery, even after several visits and tests for your illness over months. Would recommend going somewhere that doesn’t take as long to get the issue taken care of if you are very ill. I’ve been extremely ill and can hardly eat. I’ve lost over 20 pounds in the past two months while seeing them, and my issue has still not been taken care of. If you are taking care of peoples lives, you should be more diligent in your practice of scheduling appointments and calling them with results and treatment options as soon as you can. No one needs to suffer when there is a simple solution.
Dr. Narra is efficient, knowledgeable, and decisive. Since my initial visit, I have had a few tests or exams done and most of my symptoms relieved after taking her advice on water intake and Metamucil regimen. One exam left us with a new question so that will be tackled next. Shout out to a nurse named Tina I don't know her last name who has always been friendly, professional, and efficient and has gone the extra mile to coordinate off-campus appts with insurance. However, I knocked two stars off because getting a hold of someone takes so much time. This is very frustrating as a patient. There's been a few hiccups regarding scheduling of exams off campus or insurance things, and when I have to call this office, I'm on hold for over 10 mins most times and never get a call back after selecting the automated prompted call back option. That may be some sort of programming error, but if so, it needs to be resolved.
AMPLE parking, efficient, personable, efficient front desk personnel. Dr.Farooq is always patient and attentive to whatever you are sharing. His nurse was great. Check out lady was quick and knowledgeable.
Next time I’ll wait until I can see a real doctor. Your nurse practitioners aren’t very knowledgeable about anything. I was sent there for a test my primary care doctor wants done and I’m not getting it done because a glorified nurse doesn’t think it’s necessary. I will seek a second opinion before doing anything Stefanie recommends. I don’t appreciate condescension from healthcare providers. I’m glad I spent money to be told to take Advil and use heat. Waste of time. I left in more pain than when I went in. Maybe when I end up in the emergency room I’ll get the tests I need done.
The nurse practitioners are not personable, respectful nor knowledgeable enough! It takes forever to get hold of a nurse. It takes forever also to get a call or message back from doctors or nurses after contacting them on patient portal? Why?
I did not see a doctor but sat in the lobby waiting for a patient. The ladies at the desk spent 2 hours complaining about all the work they shouldn’t have to do and talking on personal calls at the same time. A co-worker went to lunch and the ladies then talked about her. Complained about having to give patients access and directions to the in office pharmacy. So totally unprofessional.
I went to get the colonoscopy packet today, and two sweet young ladies waited on me. They were very knowledgeable and encouraging. Its not often these days that one is waited on by someone who cares and is willing to take the time to help. I appreciate them so much.
The young lady that works the elevator entrance way has a terrible nasty attitude. She did not check temperature as I got off the elevator but then wanted to correct me about how many people can ride in elevator on the way out. Lol... Elevators aren't big enough to social distance in. I am no fan of ambiguity. Consistency is quite important in a medical establishment. But then again, I guess that's why she only works the door. Don't expect to take my temperature when I return Young lady. I will help you maintain consistency.
I wish I could give less than 1 star for my experience with Dr. Bob Wooten. As a younger man I trusted him with a very sensitive topic and was given every assurance that he could fix the problem with minimal procedures. After spending a small fortune with ZERO results I was callously shipped off to a surgeon, who I now cannot afford, and am still stuck paying an OUTRAGEOUS bill.
