So disappointed… takes forever to get a bid. I choose them for pricing and when Diego comes he gives good service. Elizabeth is really nice also. But getting a bid is like pulling teeth.

Pretty disappointed. I called to get two 2 quotes for a 28 ft steel gate. One quote being sliding gates and another being swing gates. An African American male showed up and took measurements but never sent the quote. When I spoke to him the first time, he stated he only got the information for a swing gate and would be back in one 1 hour. No one came or called. I followed up the next day and another male answered the phone stating they would come back, but to no avail. It’s been ten 10 days now and I still don’t have a quote. My takeaway is that they don’t want the business. Unprofessional establishment here, folks. I recommend taking your business to one of the many other places around. Response to owners response to my above message: I received no calls from any of your employees. Taking accountability for your lack of communication is better approach than to state that a reviewer is being untruthful. Feel free to call me anytime.

I have used Gateman for several years and have been happy with their service. The technicians are courteous and knowledgeable. Prices are fair and they will work with your budget. They are the ones to call when you have garage door issues, gate problems and much more! Thanks guys! You're doing a great job!!

Gateman is wonderful! They have all 5 stars and they deserve every bit of it. I highly recommend this company. They built enclosure for the dumpster. They kept their words and job was on time and the price was reasonable. Office staff Dorly & Melissa are both very helpful and polite . I highly recommend this company and would use them again for future work.

prompt and responsive company I managed The Franklin Apartments for a year I chose Gateman as my gate company due to my old company citifence that would never show up or return calls. Gateman was referred to us by our Supervisor she loves them, and they did not disappoint. Melissa is always ready to assist and a great asset to the company.

I am writing this review based off my recent experiences as an assistant community manager here in Houston. There have been a lot of positive changes and increased response time over the past year. Gateman has become extremely response and usually able to send someone out within 24-48 hours. They are great about getting you a bid promptly and scheduling emergency repairs as soon as possible. Lots of the guys are willing to give you their personal number to help with trouble shooting over the phone, which is greatly appreciated!

Gateman is so fast and sufficient! Great customer service, all the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. Diego is always our go to tech, he is very patient with all of the girls at my office. Gateman definitely has a long term customer.
