Beautiful historic battlefield of the Civil War era. Great place to take your family, camping, fishing, beautiful park area where they can play volley ball, swing, slide, climb, cookout, hold family reunions, etc. Great dining areas, beautiful Summersville Lake, and the New River Gorge for White water rafting are new by. Great place to experience Wild, Wonderful West Virginia!!!

Beautiful scenery, Nice atv riding on mining land. River was clear and beautiful. Great whitewater kayaking, small mouth fishing, trout. Masons branch, woods ferry.

Great park for kids, birthday parties & family reunions. Bathrooms nearby & so is the water for water fun, fishing & swimming.

Clean space with an area for dogs. Only issue was there wasn't hardly anywhere to turn around. And people park wrong which just conflates the issue. Be careful when pulling in.
