Great customer service and experience bringing my Acura MDX here! They know what they're doing and are reasonably priced for parts and repairs. They helped me determine what should be fixed at 106k miles to ensure I will get another 100k+ out of the car no problem.
Went in to get new pads and rotors for my brakes. One of my rotors felt a bit off after receiving my vehicle, so I brought it back. They looked at it again, without question, and fixed it within a few hours. Definitely won't bring my car anywhere else, Gaylords garage does it right!
always had a great experience at Gaylord's Garage. they took care of my car, had a whole transmission and clutch replaced. had no issues whatsoever, prices were good. it gives me a piece of mind knowing these guys are the most experienced Honda shop around. I definitely recommend them.
We brought our sons 2000 accord in because it would not start in december.. We did not know why. We were quoted $500 or less to fix whatever the issue was. That was fine. They repaired it after having the car for a month, and a few weeks later it would not start again . We towed it back a 2nd time under the 12 month warranty. Again, they got it running and we drove away. Then a 3rd time. Same thing. The 4th time it died while running, in the middle of a busy intersection. 4 tows we paid for. This time they kept the car for over 3 weeks and called to say they could nit fix it and offered to refund the money we paid originally. A few days afterwards, they called to say they figured it out. The problem was a short in a wire. We went to pick it up and we had to pay an additional 424.00. Still on the original warranty on a job that has taken 6 months and 0 parts. We are disputing this charge. It'sording to wrong. Stand by your word. Why offer us a refund if it wasn't under warranty? They tried saying it was a separate issue. Not true. NOT at all. Honda specialty shop..... why was there a bowl of popcorn in the back seat? NO preauthorization or knowledge of this random charge. No parts were used. The person we called kept saying we got a deal. We got screwed by Gaylords shady business practices.
Always a pleasure. I’ve had my vehicle serviced here for the last 5 years. I drive a +30 year old vehicle and in the past I’ve been turned away due to my vehicles age. I highly recommend Gaylord’s for their honesty and fair pricing.
Best group of people I have had the honor to meet! Honest and helpful. We were on vacation and visiting my son in Denver when I experienced some electrical issues on my Honda Ridgeline. I called Gaylord's on a Friday morning just as we were getting ready to return to Indiana and described my problem no accelerator. They told me to get there asap. Three mechanics immediately jumped on my truck and found I had accidently switched fuses which has caused the malfunction. After being with them for about 1-1/2 hours they sent me on my way. No charge! I highly recommend these folks for honesty, integrity, and fair treatment.Service: Electrical
I drive 30k miles a year and we own 3 Honda’s. We have been bringing our Honda’s to this garage for 5 years now. It’s a 45 minute drive from our house but I don’t trust anyone else to work on our cars. Their pricing is always fair. They are extremely friendly and answer all my questions over the phone. I recently took my car to get an oil change at a dealership since it was closer to my house and they told me my car had close to $2k in maintenance repairsI’ve owned my car since it was brand new and have always kept up on maintenance. I took it to gaylords for a second opinion and they reassured me that my car was fine. They are honest people and never try to talk you into do unnecessary repairs on your car like the dealerships do.
Great mechanic. I took my car in for a trip check and wasn’t charged a dime because there was nothing wrong with my car. Other mechanics easily charge a minimum just to inspect your car. I’ll definitely be coming back
