Joe has consistently gone above and beyond to help with my 97 Volvo, he is completely fair in his practice and truly only wants the best for you and your car. Unfortunately my car has quit on me, and Joe was there to walk me through what the problem was and the pricing for the repair. Then offering to answer any questions I had on new cars to purchase, to ensure I would be making a right choice on a new one. Not only are the repairs at GearHead quick and fair in price, the service is not matched anywhere else. Thanks Joe!!

This is my first time writing a review on google and this establishment deserves the 5 stars. I had my vehicle broken into and the individual ruined the ignition to where I could not start my vehicle. I had to find an auto shop that is close and determined this is the place by the promising reviews and I was not disappointed. I was concerned the individuals would return and attempt to take the vehicle the same day because I could not move it. The owners stayed well past their closing time and waited for the towing company to deliver my vehicle and followed up with a phone call. The owners of this company are fantastic and I appreciate their work ethic. I will be returning to this place and will no doubt refer their services to others. Keep up the good work!

I'll start by saying I don't write many reviews... So to write one, I feel pretty passionate about this service! I'm sitting in the air conditioned lobby writing my review while I wait after having my car quickly diagnosed after my check engine light came on during my drive from from California to Arizona. These guys are quick! They explained to me the issue and the remedy, told me what I will owe. Joe was able to find the issue and figure out the part they needed to order. Damen contacted a nearby supplier that had the part I needed, and after being told it would take over 20 minutes, he decided to drive and pick up the part from the shop himself! When he returned with the part, Joe installed it, I paid for it, and was out of the lot in record time. AND he ended up saving me money! We got pretty lucky we landed in this area - friendly, reliable service. I hope nothing else goes wrong with my car, but if something does, and I'm in the downtown Phoenix area, I hope it's some where around here.

Just posting the facts from my families experience. Ford Expedition motor needed new heads, as timing was off, car was shaking. I expected to be expensive. Quoted 1 week, took almost 3 weeks. We were unable to call and get updates, as the phone system did not work at the shop. The shop called and left voicemail after 2 weeks that it would be one more day, it took 3 more days, and again unable to call the shop to check in. Cost of the job was close to $4,000 and the shop was unable to make any type of payment arrangement. Car was picked up smelling like cigarette smoke, we will take car to be shampooed to hopefully get the smell out. I understand we are not the normal experience, as I read other reviews, I had higher expectations.

Wonderful Customer service experience, Joe is extremely knowledgeable and is willing to explain any and all questions pertaining to your vehicle. Clean waiting area. Prices are perfect. Josh also is a young talented Mechanic with experience and knowledge and is willing to learn everything on any type of vehicle. You will enjoy the experience

Daniel and his team are awesome, a couple of days back I stopped by to set an appointment for them to look at my rear brakes, I had a weird clinking sound that would come and go. Daniel said they would be glad to take a look that day. they pulled my car in and got to inspecting and it turned out to be inferior brake pad shims that had come loose and were making that noise. The replacement parts ran late so Daniel stayed late past closing, did the job and got me back on the road. I will go back for more work when needed, it's good to find someone you can trust to work on your car. They are truly a competent shop and good people.

GO HERE! This place is such a breath of fresh air! Very honest service and excellent customer service. The owner, Joe, will take his time to go over things with you. Not once did I ever feel pressured to get anything done. I'm so glad I found my new mechanic after moving from another state. Thank you Joe and the wonderful team at Gearhead Auto!!!!

I take all 3 of my vehicles to GearHead for the maintenance or repairs that I cannot perform at home. Joe and Josh provide excellent customer service and provide their skill at a very fair rate. One of the vehicles I own is a 1994 Toyota Landcruiser with over 250K miles. The legendary FJ80. It recently became my daily driver as I have put my previous DD up for sale. Joe and Josh help me keep this beast in tip-top shape, despite the repair snafus the previous owner has gotten me into. I believe that with their mechanical know-how, I will easily get over 400,000 miles out of that beast. I cannot recommend this shop enough. 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, 2 thumbs up. If you need repair or maintenance work done to your vehicle, take it to GearHead.

GearHead's new location is right next door to me, so I took my truck in to fix an exhaust manifold leak that came back after a different shop tried to fix it. They had it done in less than a day, and for way less than I paid before. Joe is a great guy and very easy to work with. Give them a try!

Joe is awesome, and my experience with everone at this shop was great. Thorough and knowledgeable, he diagnosed and repaired my car in one day. I will definitely be back in the future if my car requires any work.
