Gelsey Kirkland Academy of Classical Ballet

My daughter and my niece have been taking classes here for a few years. We absolutely love it. They are learning "real" ballet not just "playing" in tutus, and the instructors are amazing! My daughter absolutely loves GSK and is so proud of everything she is learning there.

A really bad experience. Technique is good but this school made me want to quit ballet. I started feeling depressed because classes don't let you dance and enjoy the movement. The director is condescending and all his decisions are random. He acts mostly impulsive.

I love all the teachers here and the classes are amazing because I get to build flexbility and strength through core dynamics and stretch class. Also I have character dance and historical dance in addition to ballet and pointe. The curriculum in GKA is top notched.

My daughter has been dancing in the pre-professional program at GKA for a year, and has loved it! The teachers are strict and teach children discipline without making it a "Abby Lee" environment.
