I highly recommend GEM and this specific location. Amazing customer service, very professional, Katherine and Gisela gave me more than fair amounts for multiple loans. I was in a tough spot financially and it really helped me out. I recommend them to anyone either looking for a loan or looking for great prices on some really good items. Thank you very much.

I'll like to thank Kathy who helped and made it a painless experience. And did her best to get what I needed based on the things I pawned. Was honest about price and the demands on certain products. I understand pawning more now.

Before I went to the establishment I read the reviews and I wasn't surprised. People will easily say yes to something they agree on having options. Next day when I decided to go pawn my laptop at (Gem) St. Nicolas location, I was treated very well can't complain I did what I had to do with my loan. It was a win, win situation. Thank You Gem Pawn Shop!!!

I have been dealing with Gem Pawn brokers at their various locations including the one on St. Nicholas. Their service is exceptional they work with you and are extremely understanding. I’ve also built a relationship with the workers Katherine and Gisellle they are so sweet and work hard to help you as much as possible. I would give them over 5 stars if possible. Very reliable business

Greetings GEM PAWN WASHINGTON HEIGHTS!!! This is CHRISTIAN MORALES a regular at this location. I am back to write a follow up review on Katherine Mota. 3 months ago Fransisco was at the store who served me for a number of 2 years and did a flawless job with me and as part of the community. Since Fransisco’s departure I’ve had to adjust to Katherine’s way of servicing and customer service etiquette. First off Katherine has GLOWING PERSONALITY she’ll hit you the minute you walk through that second door with her energy. Very high energy person with an ability to motivate. She is ahead of herself and the client; she’ll automatically know my needs or make informed suggestions. Concrete! This applies to other clients as well as I’ve had moments where I’ve had to wait on line for my turn at the window. Katherine, based on my experience, is that favorite Bartender or Barista who already knows how I would like my cocktail or coffee without even placing my order : ) I hope GEM PAWN has great staff as in the Washington Heights location elsewhere in other branches!!!
