This is a perfect venue space for a variety of applications. Of course, whether you go there depends on whether you like a particular scheduled event there, but we enjoyed the space for a night of candlelight string music.
Recent attendance of the Gospel Stage Play of "He's Yours, Not Mine!, featuring Veronica Thomas.
The Fountain City Quartet performed a wonderful Halloween show here. They played classic spooky tunes and several scores from movies of the season. The theater was clean and the sound was amazing.
Candlelight concert by the Fountain City String Quartet was awesome!
This is my 1st time here and it was absolutely wonderful. It was for Charles & Alkeesha Williams Wedding it was so beautifully heartfelt, and after the Wedding reception there was a play called, "For Better or For Worst" and THAT too was a show stopper!!! From 2pm to 10 pm was THE BEST time well spent! CONGRADULATIONS To the new couple, and very well done you two on the play!!!!
Great space for live events in the historic 18th & Vine District.
We attended the Candlelight Jazz event. It was awesome! I recommend any of the candlelight events.
This was a first-time visit for this venue. Great location in the culture-rich 18th & Vine District, and a lovely, intimate theater. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the venue is well taken care of. We saw a string quartet performance of music by Queen and it was excellent. We will be looking for future performances at this venue. The only downside is parking can be hard to come by on a weekend.
Each year on the first Saturday of October for 18 years Grace Baptist Church hosts a Christian program call the rudiments buy bro. Steve Chamberlain.
It gets very cold at time and the sound system was somewhat okay but still ended up being very loud.
