General Lumber Company has been in business since 1930. Since then we have been fortunate enough to adapt to the times. In 2007, after a massive flood and fire the transition from lumber yard to hardware store began. Now with over 10,000 items in our store, we strive to sell the best products for the best price. If there is something we do not stock in our store we can order it for you. Through True Value Ship to Store a customer can order any product from True Value's warehouse and have it sent to our store location.
We also provide estimates for doors and windows. We distribute Masonite, Simpson, Lemieux, Jeldwen, Reeb, ThermaTru doors. We are also a certified Marvin Windows Dealer and Installer, that have worked on Landmark Historical projects in New Jersey and NYC.
