My best friend and I went to gen X I’m she told me they did amazing work and did some of her piercings here. The lady walked to the front completely ignored me and asked what we wanted to get done my friend told her she wanted a septum piercing. I told her I wanted a medusa piercing she looked annoyed when I told her this I ignored it. Thinking it was all in my head boy I was wrong after waiting about a hour I went back first I sat down. I asked her if she could count to 3 because it makes me more comfortable and she said “No it will give you time to tense up” which freaked me out that she was going to just go for it. She had a attitude and said “See all my tools are sterilized” I know that they are supposed to do it but it was the way she said it that was nerve racking. She cleaned the area on the outside but didn’t make me mouth wash so there’s no bacteria in my mouth. I was able to look at where the placement was I liked it and said it’s perfect she seemed like she was in a rush because when she put the clamp on it hurt really bad. I’ve had a clamp before and it never hurt so bad before. No warning I felt the needle go in it hurt and I was tearing up super unprofessional. I wasn’t told how to clean it or make sure it won’t get infected. If your looking to get dirty looks, horrible service and someone with a attitude then go here. But I will definitely not be coming back and will be calling my normal piercing shop to make sure she didn’t mess up.

For the past year and a half I have visited Generation X for ALL of my piercing needs. I have had my ears/cartilage pierced multiple times by them as well as just recently having had my septum done. Both ladies behind the counter have been NOTHING but super kind and helpful and each of my piercings have healed beautifully. Also, the prices cannot be beat and their dedication to cleanliness is greatly appreciated. Love that they run on walk-ins as well. Now that I've found this establishment I wouldn't think of going anywhere else and look forward to getting my industrial done within the next few weeks. A+++ Side note: During all of my visits I have only dealt with the LADIES that work there.

If I can give this place zero stars I would. I bought a belly ring from them about a month ago literally towards the end of June. And now my belly ring piercing I had for almost a year now is rejecting. It was perfectly fine before I got a belly ring from them and now I’m going to have to get it re-pierced for the third time. Don’t suggest buying belly rings from them at all. Never had a problem with their nose rings. But belly rings forget it.

The best place to get a piercing! Great staff and quite funny too. Very clean and adamant about your piercing care. Love this place

I went in looking for a new eyebrow piercing. Nobody was at the front counter so, I patted the front counter a few times to let them know that somebody was in the store. Got back a very rude response from the owners who told me to shut up. While this was going on, I heard somebody shrieking loudly while getting a piercing and the staff was just laughing at them. My friends and I left in disgust.

my friend and i went to get pierced, the man who owns the store , who doesn’t even state his name , pierced my friend. he made “jokes” on her body WHILE PIERCING HER as well as myself. little to no privacy was given and both my friend and i left feeling violated. statements such as “hoochie” “you don’t seem like you use a safe word” “you look like your stuff your face with burritos” “you’re all bones” and so much more were stated while my friend was getting pierced and i was literally standing there. not to mention while my friend was getting her navel belly piercing done he grabbed her stomach and proceeded to make fat “jokes”. after my friend’s experience i no longer wanted to get pierced . Not to mention the owner pierced my friend incorrectly and she had to take the jewelry out not even a month later because he put an extremely short bar in that sunk into her skin, which caused an infection, discomfort and overall pain. do not waste your time and money here.

The piercer didn’t ask me where I wanted my piercing. Meaning, she didn’t ask if I liked the placement of it. She seemed rushed and like she wanted me out of her chair. To top it off, my nose stud is way too big and keeps getting caught to everything, face masks included. Also, the blood is getting caught in my nose ring again but I can’t clean it because all of the fibers from a cotton swab and tissues get stuck on the nose ring. I’m calling to ask questions, but NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE. not at all. I understand you don’t take appointments over the phone, but at least pick up to answer questions. I don’t live super close to Milford so I would like to ask questions on the phone before I just show up and they deny me for any reason. The lady at the counter didn’t care for me or anyone there. She literally had no care to be at work, no enthusiasm at all. I understand if you’re having a bad day, but why are you also rushing me if you’re only taking my money ?? Not like you’re piercing me. Idk, overall this place seemed off. I should’ve trusted my gut.

gotten my nose, eyebrow, and bellybutton pierced here!! The negative reviews are all from people who lack a sense of humor. the staff can definitely be sarcastic but it’s not out of malice, if anything it made me feel more comfortable.
