Genesee Academy

This is the best Islamic K-12 School in Michigan and one of the overall best in the country. I researched Islamic schools all over the country for 3 years prior to moving my family to Flint, MI. I have been commuting for the last two years from Rochester, NY to Flint, MI because this school is so great(and because we don't have an Islamic Middle and High School) in Western New York. Don't think twice about enrolling your child. The goal of any Islamic School is to provide an Islamic environment that fosters learning and intellectual development; Genesee Academy does that and beyond.

Very beautiful school, a mix of a cultures and ethnicities. Some of the teachers are not Muslim but they respect the Islamic faith. Some if them even wear hijab during Islamic programs and Ramadan. Highly accredited and rated one of the highest successful schools in terms of graduated/graduating students. Me.Tibi whom is the Principal is Masha Allah and The assistant principal Mr.Jackson(whom isn't Muslim )is great as well. Very disciplined school teaching basic curriculum and the Islamic faith.

This school isn't the best it has a ton of drama,Horrible lunches,and not so great teachers...expect the English...There the best! I would have gave it 0 stars but i sadly have to give one to post this review.

Wallah best school. Amazing Teachers, especially Mr. Clark, bro wherever he's going you better hella hire him. They got great lunches I mean Little Caesars his hella good, but u gotta fight tooth and nail for the big slices. The tests are hella easy /s. Oh and Mr. Tibi's keys should start a music band.
