George Constance Sr Memorial Rifle Range

Nice facility, but the range master is an ass. Can’t shoot an AR15 without a brass catcher?!? Got a long lecture about people shooting the wood target stands (accidents happen?). Make sure you stop in the clubhouse before you set your stuff down at a bench (if you can find a place to set it down near the clubhouse in the winter)or you’ll get a ten minute lecture and be treated like a 4 year old, regardless of how many years you’ve been going there. First went there in the mid 90’s, and don’t like the condescending attitudes I get now. *Went back and the RO was nice and had a better experience. Must have been a bad day or just got the new guy treatment the previous trip.

Great range, great improvements over the years! I’ve been shooting here since it was just a range with tire burms every 50 yards i think, that was 25-30 years ago! Only down side now is it has open and closed hours and days! Maybe it did then too but that was the 80’s, the world has changed since then! So obey any signs posted on the gate about hours and whatnot! Great range!!!

Very cool place to shoot ESPECIALLY for a place that is funded and maintained by donations.
