This convention center was well planned for housing any convention or gathering or show conceivable. It has open access to all floors from the gigantic 2 story exhibit halls at either end and connected (or separated) by a third along the rear of the building. Huge bay doors can accept tractor-trailers pulling yachts in with ease. The main concourse outside has been revamped in the past year with widening of the concourse, adding a boardwalk style raised cafe area with large fountains and restaurants along the front of the building. Well placed entrances allow attendees to readily access the building even in the most crowded conditions with exiting sets of doors on either end and main entrances toward the middle done in glass and an excellent view into the main lobby. The 3rd floor houses the most rooms of various sizes for whatever purpose with various amenities for multimedia, room provisioning and modification and to top it off, an excellent staff whom i found stays out of the way and to themselve unless you ask and they are more than happy to assist.

Been here plenty of times. With all the new developments which is making Houston so much more attractive for tourism and community life ... just beautiful. Anyway, GRB please educate your ticket booth of the events they’re assisting in catering to in regards to information. Was Mia informed of the location of the even within the convention center and lost for a half hour following his directions.

Well kept in the main areas. The out of the way bathrooms can get a bit dirty bit it's understandable for the size of conventions that I was there for. Large space helps with packing more stuff to do and vendors. Couldn't imagine a con anywhere else in the city and have it not be cramped. The attached restaurants are great too! Really loving the new front space with the tables and fountains! Only improvement I could think of is more dedicated parking since it tends to run out fast.

My wife and I went to the home show on April 7th, at the George Brown convention center. It was a very nice experience. We parked across the street at the underground parking. There was a very nice large videos playing when you walk in the door. The home show that was hell there was very nice we got everything done that we needed. When you have a trade show, that is a good place for it.

This is such a cool and unique place. The artwork on the walls makes it worth going in, even if there is no event going on. The staff are pleasant and answer any question that you might have.
