Gerald R. Ford Museum

My family and I thought that the museum was great and really showed a side of President Ford that you rarely hear about. The museum made him look more humble. I am glad to have this great piece of American History so close to my home (about two hours away).

Fun and accessible overview of one of our most under-appreciated presidents. Lots of video and interactive displays. Great gift shop for Red and Blue fans. Walking distance to downtown Grand Rapids and other attractions.

Love a great presidential museum - and this is one. Beautiful location within walking distance of downtown. Love their treatment of the Watergate years and how Ford essentially sealed his fate for reelection by pardoning Nixon. But he knew it was what the country needed. Very selfless act by an underrated president. If you are walking around Grand Rapids visiting the many great breweries, this will be a good stop if you need a break.

Was concerned that it would be dated, but we were pleasantly surprised! It was up to date and had many interactive features! A really nice way for the whole family to spend the afternoon!

It was historic. Amazing videos and quality heart tugging presentations. Loved the oval office.
