Gil's Taste of Taos

We came in from Dallas and my wife was looking for a small family run restaurant that had something different. We stopped in to Gil's and were so happy we did. First, our server was amazing, a mature woman that was so sweet and helpful. She talked to us about places to visit while in town. Secondly the food was awesome. We truly enjoy finding family run spots that take pride in what they offer. I would love to visit again!

I’ve been wanting to visit Gil’s for awhile, and it did not disappoint. First off - this is one of the few restaurants in the valley that won’t freeze their patrons by pumping their A/C. The dining room was a very comfortable temperature. 2nd - they have a small and cute dog friendly patio. The food was delicious, not too spicy - but the heat was still there. I had the red chile smothered beef sopapilla - it was the perfect way to end my week. As a native New Mexican - this place is legit. Plus, you can’t beat the prices - the quality you get for the price is top notch. We will for sure visit again.

Gil's has great food and excellent service! He even brought the food to our after wedding get together early 2016. I still get comments about how good the food was! We don't go out to eat often but eat here regularly.

If you're in Arizona, but need the authentic New Mexican food, Gil's is the absolute best. Friendly staff, and amazing food!
