Gillespie Barber and Stylist

I've been to many barber shops in Charlotte but this shop is hands down the best I've been to. Im a single mother with a son. I get a little nervous around a lot of men. I felt so comfortable and welcomed that I will be back. Very inviting, upscale and friendly environment.

This is one of the best barbershops in the city not only does it has great barbers but this barbershop has been in business for over a decade, and is growing through it all. Very clean, professional atmosphere and the owner is also involved in his community and helping others.ServicesCustom cut

I’m sure this is a great shop for when you already have a barber you see consistently. However, as a new client I was not greeted or acknowledged in any way when walking in and was unsure how long I was supposed to wait around. I even called ahead to ask if walk-ins were okay.

Been going to Will for over 15 years. The shop and all the barbers are top notch. My most recent trip was just a couple of weeks after reopening from COVID19 closure and they are taking great precautions. Felt safe and walked out looking like a new man!

Huge shoutout to Will. I had never been before and he absolutely killed it! My hair is tough to work with but he was meticulous and I look way more fresh than I should now Beard trimming on point which was the biggest thing I came in for to begin with

I feel like a new person. I’ve only been to a few places that put a visible smile on my face when I look in the mirror after the cut. Best cut I’ve had in a while and not very expensive. The staff is friendly and makes great conversation. Check this place out.

The guys in the shop are all so nice. They all do great work. Especially Will he's been cutting my son's hair since he was a toddler. He's now 13.

It is always a great experience! I actually see Bobby "King of Locs" You need a loctician he is your man! My locs are always furious and he's fast!
