So I decided to buy pizza for my staff and decided to try this spot for the first time. So they took longer then expected, the food was cold. The pizza was stiff as a card board and they use that same bread that little Cesar’s uses and it was over cooked and they was missing one box and my pasta was not present and the garlic bread was terrible and the garlic knots had way to much garlic pieces and it was not cooked fully and soggy. The delivery guys at these mom and pops store don’t want to meet you at the door they want you to go to the car as if I didn’t just pay for delivery. So definitely will stay clear of this place. I’m actually surprised at there overall star score.
Update: Horrible food and I can’t believe this the same place I wanted to actually take time as my duty as a Local Guide to give this place a review that’s worthy! Giovannis is not only delicious but consistent! I have been ordering from them for over 3 years and I haven’t had a bad thing to say. The gentleman who normally takes the orders is very patient over the phone and double checks the orders Now to the lovely pizza... gave me manhattan 2000s pizza vibes. So delicious, hot, cheese pulls for days. It was a medium pie and we loaded that bad boy up with pepperonis and extra cheese. We was extra impressed with the sauce flavors too. They also have Zeppoli‘s yeah so you can’t go wrong here. I’ll be back. They know this and I hope this review make you get a slice too
This was literally the worst food I ever had. The chicken parmigiana sauce tasted like chef boy. The garlic bread and knots were soggy and cold and for some reason sweet. My Penny Al vodka had huge pieces of Parmesan cheese. Just nasty.
I usually get the pizza special for lunch.. however I decided to have some pasta for lunch today. I ordered the chicken parmigiana over ziti..& I Must say it was absolutely delicious .. My order came with a side of garlic knots and small salad .. it was enough for two ppl.. so I’m taking the rest home for dinner
Surprisingly good. Points for appears, smell, combinations and all of the rest like sauce were on the money. I would however note that you need to let them know you would prefer of it is your preference a little less dough. The crust is great but the base of the pizza is as thick as a burger bottom bun. Not bad just for me I perfer it to stand at half that. But if your in the area and looking for a slice or a pie I would recommend you give it a go. Slice is $2.50a topping is $1 extra. A small pie is $7.50 and $1 extra with a topping. If your getting pizza for two a small pie is more then enough.
The worst place ever the Owner is a money hungry greedy Dominican my daughter dropped her slice when the guy gave it to her who knows if he even handed it correctly and I asked for another and the a** ho*e made me pay again never will I ever set foot in there again the pizza is disgusting anyway the only reason he makes money is because the train station is right there if not this shop will be empty
Tasty Sicilian slices. Really good baked ziti w a very nice various stuff salad & garlic knots. Very good Italian sweet sausage, peppers, and onions w or w/o cheese sandwich. Nice, friendly counter man.
The food is always amazing, got my brother some food from here and he loved it. The staff are always chill peeps.
Worse experience ever with a business. Ordered Pizza Buffalo Wings and a Soda at 2:07 PM almost 2 hrs later I received cold pizza Fried Chicken and French Fries. I immediately called the Pizza shop and the guy told me they would send me the right wings as I just figured I'd heat up the pizza. Another 2 hrs later I called back and the person on the phone gonna lie to me and say they called me numerous times which never happened because my phone never rang. They also lied and said they rang the bell downstairs another lie as I sat here watching football. They never have to worry about me ordering from there again and neither should you.
Starting to wonder about these "local guides". I give their slice 3.7 Stars, which will round up to a 4. Not a bad Spanish pizza, but not a good Italian pizza. Not a trace of Italian seasoning. In fact, the only seasoning that is recognizable is salt, and possibly a bit of fennel seed. Crust crispness and texture okay, but no noticeable flavor. Better than Domino's and the like, but, I won't be going back.
