Shaima did my hair and makeup for my wedding and did hair for my bridal party of 6 and was amazing! Everyone loved their look and she even touched up my mom's makeup after she got it done to make sure she loved her look too. I asked Shaima if she would be willing to come to my wedding to give me a touch up before my second entrance to make sure my hair and makeup was still good after taking off my hijab and she was able to accommodate my request and it made all the difference! She's wonderful and would absolutely recommend any brides looking for a makeup/hair artist!
Shaima is an amazing stylist and person! She was there on all 4 of my wedding functions and made me not only look amazing, but also feel beautiful! Her patience and conversation helped calm me down and made my wedding so much more special I would definitely recommend her to anyone getting married!!!
Shaima was kind enough to fit me in last minute for my Indian Wedding Celebration. Her skills blew me away! I showed her one inspiration photo and she nailed the super glam, golden eye, bronzy look I was going for. The makeup lasted all night long and I got so many compliments on the look. She was also very professional and kind! Definitely recommend hiring her for your next event.
I loved working with Shaima for my wedding events. She did my hair for all 3 events and did an incredible job!! She was very helpful the months leading up to the wedding, answering any questions I had. She is professional, calm, and easy to communicate with. Talking with her through the events made me feel more relaxed and she was patient when working with other family members. I hired Shaima to do bridal makeup and hair for three different events in my wedding Sangeet, Ceremony, and Reception and she was phenomenal! Even though we weren't able to get a trial scheduled because of conflicting travel/availability dates, we did a virtual meeting and discussed my likes and dislikes and my visions for each look. Even in that first meeting she was so kind, empathetic, and attentive to my concerns and desires— if her portfolio hadn't made it clear, I knew after that Zoom meeting that I was in good hands! Shaima gave me three different looks, all of which still felt like me. The sangeet and reception looks did not budge hair and makeup through hours of sweating and dancing, and my ceremony makeup stayed put through happy tears. The ceremony look was my favorite of all— I felt just like myself, but so beautiful and elevated. My husband loved it too. She was always professional and— extra important in this work but sometimes rare in our community— punctual! We had great conversations during some of the time she was working on me and at other times like when I was practicing my vows before the ceremony she let me have my space and worked quietly but no less efficiently. Shaima is, hands down, the best makeup artist I have had. Im not much of a creative and was able to provide zero direction when it came to the type of look that would suit me and that i'd like on my wedding. That didnt matter one bit. Shaima did her thing and the results were stunning. Not only is her talent unmatched but her personality, demeanor, and professionalism brought reassurance on my hectic wedding day. Shaima did my wedding make up and hair style. I had shared a few looks to shaima and said that I love shimmers, loose curls and winged eyeliner look in a brown nude. I loved my makeup, not only did she create the look I wanted, it was beyond what I asked for. I loved my hair style. She helped me with my wedding dress and veil setup as well.
