Glass Pavilion

DO go to one of the demonstrations!!! They give a great background of glass making and its process. Afterwards, check out all the glass displays. The demo gives one a better understanding of the process, layering and designing, otherwise it might be "just" a glass building with examples of "pretty" glass objects. It is a wonderful visit either way...but, the demo is a good place to start! Also, IT'S FREE!

A great collection in an incredibly appropriate building. An interesting overview of the history of glass making. Many amazing pieces on display as well. Don't miss an enjoyable and informative demonstration on glass blowing!

Great place to come visit if you're going to the art museum! There are a ton of interesting and beautiful pieces here, and there are opportunities to see glass blowing and take classes! If you're interested in seeing how the Glass City got it's name, you should stop by and see the building made from glass!

Amazing what can be done with glass! This is a history museum as well ! We spent 2 hours enjoying this neat place. Free to get in to see the exhibits. There is a parking fee.

The Toledo Museum of Art is the cultural gem of Toledo. We attended a wine tasting event that was fun and informative. There are galleries, watch the glass artists at work, and plan a bigger event in the reception room.
