Global Nails

I moved over to this side of town a few years ago and I’ve had the hardest time finding a nail place I like. I came here about 3-4 months ago and I absolutely love it! They do an amazing job. Haylee is incredible at nail art! I had a new girl today named Mia and she did an awesome job! I’ve included my 4 nail designs I’ve got since coming here. All were exactly what I asked for! Highly recommend! I also get a lash lift too and it looks so good!

Please be very cautious getting your nails done here. They did not do anything I asked for and instead said they know what's best for my nails. The lady clipped my real nail off so she had to add a fake nail. Then she mis shaped my nails and filed them shorter then what we discussed. All of this happened from 6pm to 8pm which is very unprofessional. Since there were so many mess ups and bubbles in my nails I asked for a refund and they yelled and denied me my money. They got upset and scared my 3yr old daughter and demanded me to leave even when I remained calm. I will never return to pdx nails again.

I asked just for stiletto nails in red… instead I got large chunky almonds. She left polish color all over my fingers and cuticles, and told me To try and scrub it off myself in the sick. Then she left, Right before the clear coat, to help someone else. she grabbed her son who didn’t work there and didn’t know what he was doing to finish my nails. He filed my skin off my fingers to remove some color. Then He drenched them with alcohol and rubbed them with paper towels leaving paper and holes in my nails. When I asked them to fix it, he barely buffed my nails and didn’t fix anything. I was tired of being there so I didn’t try to have them do it again. Finished with a single coat of clear and charged me $66.

The price was reasonable and they were friendly. However, I wasn't keen on the cleanliness of the place. The staff did not practice good hygiene between customers. For example, they did not wipe down the manicure work area between customers. The supplies e.g. nail clippers and cuticle cutters didn't appear to have been sanitized. I'm also a bit upset because when the staff put my phone in the work area to see the photo of what I wanted better they got polish on my phone case. It's not the worst but it felt careless. I won't be a repeat customer.

Spent $140 on my nails for medium short nails, minimal details. All my nails are different sizes on each finger. All my gems fell off within 2 days and it's 2 gems for $5 alone. And 6 out of the 10 are crooked. She kept rubbing/ filing my cuticles due to getting gel polish everywhere and she filed my actual finger to fix her mistake. I tipped her and left. Be stern on what you want otherwise they do whatever they want.

I was nearby this place while running errands and decided to go in and see if I could get a full set and pedi. They fit me in and Rachel did a phenomenal job! Played close attention to detail and we matched my nail color to my toes perfectly as they were different mediums. Highly recommend!

First time getting acrylics! Super satisfied with my nails!!! Tam did such a great job! Asked for what I wanted and I received not from Oregon but I’ll definitely come back when I come visit again

Impulse self care day read: impulse purchase after some rough news. I’d been thinking about eyelash extensions for a few months but decided against them. Clearly I changed my mind. I was sitting in the chair getting a pedicure here when I saw another customer come in. I was able to watch her get the extensions done. I was surprisingly nervous but the woman who did them was patient and explained the process. The price was right for the timing. She took her time, maybe an hour for the initial application. She even helped me when I freaked out at my first glance. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not a luxurious experience or highly refined salon. It’s a great neighborhood spot with cute decor and a great staff. Excellent work for the price! The owner did my pedicure so I met two people working. Glad I did. I’ll be back! And I’ve since been back, didn’t go well ETA: fill didn’t go as well as I had hoped and I finally just went somewhere else.

Amazing service. This set cost $125 including tip. Edited to add these nails only lasted 1.5 weeks because my nail tech did not take care of my cuticles

Amazing customer service. I found PDX nails and lashes via instagram. I was looking for someone local who does quality designs and acrylic nails. I messaged Tammy inquiring about decals at the time she didn’t have them. A few days later she messaged saying she order them and they were in. I promptly set an apt. Communication was quick and professional. Not to mention my nails came out amazing with great attention to detail. I found my new nail salon! I highly recommend especially for those looking for specialty acrylic.
