Terrible customer service. I went to pick up an online order and because they lost of one of the items it took them over 30 minutes to try and find it. After the first 15 minutes I told them it was okay and that I just wanted a refund but they refused. The associate trying to help even proceeded to take a call instead of assisting me and the other employees in the store that were seemingly nice when I walked in refused to help me when I asked. If you're considering buying something from here just save your time and money and just buy it off Amazon. I definitely made a mistake giving GNC a chance when you can get the same items for a better price off Amazon.
There’s one bottle of fish oil ~$50 that’s not packed by the cashier and missing in my in-store purchase package. The other day I called them and want to reach out to that cashier, the stuff who picked up the phone said, “ No I don’t need to help you with that, just bring the whole order here so we can check.” But I’m already out of town. Let me grant you a star, for being so helpful and so polite.
Have to agree with the previous reviewer about them just sort of making up their own hours. The sign out front said they open at 10am on Sundays but I tried to go today at 10:38 and the place was still locked up without a soul in site.
Begging you all not to BOTHER wasting any time making a trip here. They’re closed every single day despite displaying that they’re open on the website. 3 visits in 3 days, all closed Appalled and disappointed

The customer service is horrible. I attempted to shop at the location multiple times and every time the service was lacking and I end up leaving. Theres never a greeting, associates are having conversation on the sells floor and not acknowledging the customer. The customer has to interrupt the conversation by asking for assistance. Or there would be one associate that just want give that full customer service not education about product or give recommendations. Hiding behind the register on their cell phone! One guy that was there working by himself had is back turned to me! So unprofessional. I’m done giving this location chances I’ll take my business to another since Boylston St. can’t be bothered
Happened to be the closest one to me and I’m happy I went inside. The young woman who was alone helped out so much! She really seemed to be knowledgeable of most products and answered all my questions. I ended up leaving with a pre-workout powder and the big plus was buy one get one free! Happened to be the last day of the promo!
Hours of operation are wrong. Google says 8 AM on Fridays. Came through traffic to get here, a quarter for 4 minutes and got to the door, door sign said “10AM” for operation hours. Worker was in there and refused to come talk to us, very rude and pointed to the door rolling her eyes. The hours should be updated online so people don’t waste their time & money coming here.
Inaccurate operating times on website. I arrived at the Boylston st location at 825pm after a rushed workout because it says online that they close at 9, only to be turned away by the employee who stated “we close at 8”. Waste of gas.
Rude and ill-informed to say the least. Awful customer service especially today. I have yet to walk out of there without a bad offer to sign up for some sort of free but not entirely free discount program or subscription program.
