Incredibly knowledgeable staff and top notch equipment. We booked a single and double kayak, and the package included adjustable paddles, leashes to avoid losing the paddles, backrests, 2 dry bags, life vests, and equipment to tie the kayaks to the car. The double kayak also came with a hatch to stow the dry bags. The owner helped us load the kayaks onto our car, and gave super detailed instructions on how to set everything up, load everything, and and even proper kayaking technique. The process was efficient and super easy to follow, and we had a great experience with both the equipment and the customer service. 10/5 stars.

If you like to kayak, this is the place to go. John and his staff are friendly, very knowledgeable and patiently answered all the questions I had. I know kayaking is a complicated sport and I'm just an amateur. It was great to have the experience and guidance of John and his team. Mahalo for providing a safe and positive experience!

Rented a two person kayak for the day. The price was fantastic, they were very helpful with documentation and the loading/unloading process and I feel like they gave some very helpful tips about the area. I would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to rent gear for an island adventure!

Go Bananas is probably the best kayak deal on the island. John helped us and was just fantastic -- informative, helpful, and with that touch of Hawaiian humor sarcasm that cracks me up. He made sure we understood everything from securing the kayaks on our roof properly to pointing out more local type access points where we were going to best routes and other options. On top of that, the prices are unbeatable. Highly recommend.

Literally the best rental company on the island. Not only was the price low but after our car got towed while we were out kayaking they came and picked us up …and gave us a ride to our hotel. Some of the nicest people I’ve ever met.

OK, so 4-5 years ago I bought a rack from these guys. I noticed some sun rot hey 5 years of Hawaiian sun and called for advice on replacing straps. Not a structural issue just cosmetic. They were totally responsible and responsive and helpful. Sending me no cost replacement and lots of help. Lots of Aloha spirit. Highly recommend these fine people. I don’t even live on Oahu anymore. Mahalo.

Alot of fun! We rented kayaks for 2 days and they give you everything you need kayak racks and all. Super easy to load and unload.
