Go Bu Gi Asian Market

New favorite market for Korean groceries. Wonderful selection of high-quality pantry, refrigerated and frozen foods with a smaller selection of fresh produce. Helpful staff, great prices, spotlessly clean. The kind man stocking the shelves went out of his way to ask me — a pale blond woman — whether I was finding everything I needed. They were out of one thing I was after, so he suggested a substitute I think I'll prefer. The store shelves are light on English labels. If you don't read 한글, try flipping packages over. Many will have an name or short description in English over the barcode.

The prices aren’t right, but the level of customer service and help with the products has been unparalleled so far. I went in to look for an udon noodle and was immensely helped out by one of the proprietors. They have a great selection of kimchi and fresh products for me to choose from. Lots of snacks! And lots of pickled vegetables and great produce to pick from. And they have a lot kitchen supplies to choose from as well! Lots of knives and peelers and tongs.
