Exceptional tasty authentic northern style Chinese food. All dishes are more than you can expect, and no dish will disappoint you here. Some may think the service is not great, but it is their style and not too bad either. The down side would be the outdated interior and not a neat place. Kid-friendliness: NO
The food was great, and the service was ok. Maybe it’s because it was 1 hour before the closing time when we got there, the server in the front door was not so friendly. Other servers there were ok, and we understand it’s near the closing hour. Overall, the experience was still pretty nice. Food: 5/5
I like the northern Chinese BBQ. The cuisine was pretty nice and tasty. Staffs were friendly as well and provide great suggestions on what to order. We arrived a bit late and they ran out of the tea we liked. Would definitely be back and try out other dishes.
Excellent food, relatively inexpensive, cute decor! If you are looking for Northern Chinese Cuisine, Go Chi is among the best in the Boston area. The skill of their kitchen staff and presentation is incredible and the prices are very fair. Everything is appropriately spiced and authentic. The crab is a must try! Skewers are especially good. Each lamb skewer has a piece that’s fatty and chewy. Sweet and sour double cooked pork is crispy and flavorful, but they are extremely thin and the sauce is beyond sour. In general, food is decent, quality is on the lower end, service is agile enough.Food: 3/5
Ordered leaf lettuce with fried dace over rice. This is what I got. Only three small pieces of dace fish.Food: 1/5
Excellent authentic food from the dongbei region in China. Funky exterior with a cozy feel on cold days. Recommendations from a dongbei native: twice fried pork in sweet sour sauce, cold noodles with veggies. Bonus surprise was the salted egg yolk fried pumpkin , this is every salted egg lover's dream!!! Portions are huge for the price, as expected from dongbei cuisine.
Food is good, nice place for dining in Malden area.Food: 5/5
Pretty decent Chinese restaurant. Spicy shrimp, chicken gizzards and chicken wings were really good. Spicy dice chicken was okay and double fried pork was too oily. The pork dumplings were good too. The dumplings are north eastern style, which is thick skin. If you are used to the Cantonese type of dumplings, which is thin skin, you may not like it.
The eggplant and the skewers are good. The drink is a bit too sweet. If you pay cash, they offer 10% discounts. Meter parking outside
