This bag weighs 5lbs max. No pet waste, no liquids, not a torn bag. I put it outside by 8pm on June 10th, 2021. Why wasnt this picked up? It was not a holiday i dont think. Service request has been submitted. I will never move into another complex with go doorstep valet trash and you shouldnt either lol.
We have lived at two Walton properties now and have had Go Doorstep at each. Last year at Walton Riverwood, it took a while and several requests to get a recycling bin but we had no other issues while living there. Unfortunately we are a month into our new Walton River lease and have nothing but negative things to say. We moved into our new apartment in mid-November and it is now mid-December yet we have not received a Go Doorstep trash can for the valet trash service. The company included instructions and a schedule in our apartment welcome packet which says trash cans and recycling bins should be requested through their website. I have now submitted at least five online requests, called Go Doorstep's office and left a voicemail with my information but have gotten no response and no trash can. We are paying for a service that we are not actually receiving. I will be contacting our leasing office to see if they have any influence on the situation, but Go Doorstep as a company seems to be inadequately organized and lacks concern over customer satisfaction.

I live at a Walton Community and we have Go Doorstep for our valet trash service. They are so awesome! Not only do they pick up nearly every day of the week, their porters are always friendly and very considerate. I ran into one guy when I was coming home late from work when I realized I had just missed the opportunity to put out my trash and he offered to wait outside my door as I collected it. I thought that was very nice of him. Plus they give out a trash AND recycling bins. Makes my busy life much more convenient. Thank you!
Compared to the usual mom-and-pop shops or corporate behemoths like Valet, Go Doorstep is awesome. The crazy thing to me is that most of the complaints on here are about recycling bins. The vast majority of recycling ends up in the landfill anyway because China won't take it anymore. Now you can guiltlessly toss your water bottles, single-serve American cheese wrappers and daily Amazon boxes into the trash. You're welcome.
We have reached out to Go Doorstep two times via email and one time via voice message about requesting a recycling bin. Finally, someone called me back and said that we would receive one ASAP. Still hasn't shown up. Not sure what else I can do. This has been going on since we moved into our apartment four weeks ago.
