Hometown feel dining and curb appeal. The 3 piece catfish, 3 piece shrimp meal, include 2 sides, roll, plus drink is priced steep for the size of the pieces. The catfish is 2/3 smaller than shown on pics but had good fishy catfish flavor. The shrimp is just ok, smaller shrimp, mine was a bit dry on the outside and just slightly fried too hard. My cherry cola was terrible and tasted kind of old, the fries were ok and good, they were pretty fresh, the roll was very good and fresh. The salad was good and fresh and the perfect size, took me around 7 minutes to eat the salad. The 230 calorie 1.5 oz salad dressing packet is a huge helping of dressing for a tiny salad, I only used a 10th the packet, I had to add the dressing little by little because the salad is too packed to mix in the dressing. I like the review that says he bought a family meal to eat on for a few days and the manager is a nice guy, the manager has been friendly in my experience as well. There is a heavy set female employee with a very short hair cut, red or reddish color hair, late 30s or so when I came in the store standing in front of the registers, but not directly at them in front of them. I gave her a hello smile, she just looked at me and looked away without any acknowledgement as a 7 year old may. I thought oooook. I believe she may have been in training as the manager waited on me, however, this is NO excuse to be the first and only one someone sees when they enter the store and not acknowledge the customer, your age and honor tells you to at least say we'll be with you in just a moment. When you seek this type of work you have to behave professionally towards all customers whether you are a fan of their profile or not.

Food was just below Great, now it comes close to home cooking but Nope, it's not. Now price was maybe ok but could be better for the size of some items on menu. And the rice should be changed more to stay fresh, really don't do sticky rice or dry food but I'll just stop in daytime like I usually would do anywhere, most places don't care after 3pm sry it's a fact, I've been to then all ..

My experience on monday wasn’t a good one at all first they forgot to my my second order of fries in my box second I drove all the way to my mothers house only to discover we we missing a fries so I went back to get the fries by then the food was cold so I asked the staff at the window if they could remake my order they had me pull up and wait 10 mins for fresh food right so the man comes out with the food I don’t check it but by the time I brought the food up to my mothers job which is 8 mins away from this place it was stone cold my mother is a nurse at a retirement community I was just trying to do something nice for her but the kids in the drive thru window thought it would be cute to give us the same food we bought in and not the fresh stuff so I was upset when my mom told me her and her co workers food was cold ….. Honestly disappointed cause I hyped up this place so much

The staff at Rockwell location are wonderful. The Manager is super nice. He treats Me like Family. I drive 20 miles because the chicken and sides are so good. They serve fresh yeast rolls too. I actually bought a Family meal to eat on for several days. I've always had good service and enjoyable meals there.

This is ridiculous. How do you serve food that looks like this to paying customers? It may not matter to you but I’ll never stop at your business again.

A holy ground only fit for kings, which is why I sent my cousin to get it. Still great the, plus the girl at the window was hot so that's a plus

If you want to order from Golden Chick invest in this location and order from them only not the one off of MacArthur. My grandmother ordered from the one off of MacArthur today and instead of giving her what she ordered they shorted her on some of her order and offered no solution other than for her to come inside and pick up the rest of her order that she ordered through doordash or to call corporate. I went to this location and they said my grandmother shouldn't have been treated the way she was. So I went ahead and ordered some more rolls and gravy from this location because I didn't want to drive to the other location and chance them putting something in the food when it wasn't even our fault that the food wasn't delivered.

Food was good. I believe it to be the manager walking around the restaurant on the phone very loudly and it was not business calls. I've not been in the area for several years now, this is one of my favorite places to eat. The area is getting pretty bad now
