Giving it 4 stars only because of the very nice waitress, otherwise it's been 3 stars at best. Here's the good and the bad. Restrooms weren't clean, trash was overflowing. There was soap and towels. The spoons...please tell me why you have to ask for a spoon. Crazy, had my soup but could not find a spoon anywhere. So I ask, and at first I thought I was being ignored but then the person produced from under the cash register area a full set of plastic cutlery. Complete with napkin, salt & pepper packets and a spoon, fork and knife. So while I was happily eating my soup a waitress shows up and ask if I was the one needing a spoon. Said yes I was but I now have this fine piece of plastic and I'll manage quite alright. But she insist and goes to where the drinks are and comes back with a small packet that actually had 2 metal spoons. I was pretty much done with my soup by then. Oh and I got to help another customer out when I heard him talking about not finding a spoon, I shared the info that at this place you have to request a spoon.which he did and he received. The overall impression of the place was that the building was tired. It just wasn't a bright shiny place to eat. The good...the food was ok, nothing wrong with the food, not great but just ok. Salad was crisp, always a good sign. The soup I had was good but my steak was not freshly cooked, barely warm. And our waitress, Meroset not quite right but close she is the waitress you hope to find everywhere. We enjoyed her attention and service which were nicely rewarded. She's good, really good. The basics, plenty of free parking with full handicap access inside and out.
Everything was hot, fresh, and the salad bar was stocked. If you like a salad bar in the morning like I do, I highly recommend that you go there. The staff was friendly. It's one of the tidiest locations. I went around 930 this morning and it's wasn't busy, so I enjoyed my breakfast...it was calm. At others times it tends to be very busy. Standard breakfast fare with of course the salad bar and Mexican food options. Around $22.00 for two people, but I also got a Sprite.
Fast and friendly staff when entering. We were scolded for sitting in a "party section" so we kindly moved after I told her I was sorry we didn't know. Upon eating a worker sat back there as well as another customer. Mind you this is a Tuesday afternoon at 2pm. Restaurant had maybe 15 tables with people eating. Our waitress was more interested in a table of 4 men than she was with my mother and I. I had to go to front counter to refill my own drink. Food was good and appeared to be fresh. NEVER will return to this location.
I haven't eaten at Golden corral in some time until my daughter suggested it today. Due to me being a single Mother its often difficult especially at buffet restaurants due to one of my children being a younger child and has to be tend while dining in. Upon seating I couldnt find a high chair then when i did the two available were extremely dirty and no service waitress was any where to be found which delayed eating. Once they recognized that i was frustrated and having to provide my own service they started attending my table. Overall my visit was okay food presentation was fair and at decent temperatures. Improvements on service and cleanliness of the restaurant is what i recommend and suggest.
Took the family here today and it was great food was hot not old, staff was very helpful and friendly.
Dishes were left everywhere, we had to hunt people down to have drinks filled. Food was OK, about what you would expect from a buffet.
Looks dumpy from the outside. Do not let this fool you. Clean on the inside and pretty decent Chinese food + some other miscellaneous goodies at decent price.
So.... It's a buffet which has lots of food options. The service was friendly but they seemed understaffed and stressed. The food was good for a buffet. They have steak fresh cooked which wasn't bad at all. The kids loved the chocolate fountain and cotton candy. We had 5 kids and 2 adults... Cost us about $75 for meal. Bit on the pricey side but the kids really enjoyed it.
Normal buffet style service. Buffet items not being properly prepared or maintained. Some of the hot items were lukewarm at best. The biscuits capable for hockey play. In short; I would not recommend this location except during the peak dining times. Food quality is at or above normal during those times.
Food was yummy and fresh the pop was crisp and the staff were very nice. When I walked up to get food they made sure everything that was sitting out was fresh and that there was plenty to eat. There fruit was super fresh and that’s saying something because usually fruit in buffets are gross. Over all just a nice place to eat. Would recommend to friends.
