Golden Hawaii Barbershop

I was looking for a new barber for the last six months. The days of getting a decent cut at less expensive brand businesses are rare if any. I saw Ceejay on a You Tube Video which got me interested. This business already had great reviews so I saw this as a Sign from Heaven to check it out. The shop has an old skool vibe and the waiting area is comfortable. If you’re bored you can people watch out the large street facing window. Parking is free but you have to let them know so they can open the gate to the back parking lot. I was there for my appt. at 6 pm. After speaking to Ceejay about my thinning hair issue. I asked him for a cut that would make me look decent. He did way better than that! He started the cut and the shop has a nice peaceful easy to talk atmosphere. By the time he was done I put my glasses back on to see the results and was amazed. I was asking him, “Whose head is this?” When I looked in the mirror. It didn’t look like me. I was happy. Not only finding a great place but also a great barber. This was my Xmas Present to me. Definitely a returning customer. Appts are booked on their website. I waited almost two weeks for this slot. Definitely worth the wait.Service: Haircut

Great spot for a haircut. Easy online reservations. Cash only. There is parking in the back, it’s easy to miss since it’s a very narrow entrance. the spots are real narrow but it works.

I've been looking for a place like this for 5 years and finally my wish has come true. Ever since I left NY I've been dying to find a good barber, one that's good with the scissors and the razor. Hard to find that combo on the island, everyone wants to pound out 12 dollar buzz cuts in 15 mins. If you care about your haircut and don't mind taking the time for a good cut then definitely make an appointment and go down to Golden Hawaii. My barber was Mark and I couldn't be more happy. He took the time to let me show him a few pics , and listened to what I had in mind since it was my first time there. Mark doesn't rush, and his attention to detail is exactly what I like. The atmosphere there is great, the shop is spotless and you really just couldn't ask for much more. Now this definitely isn't the cheapest spot but I'm ok with paying for a quality product. It's cash only so don't forget to stop at the ATM ahead of time. See you guys soon

The staff was well equipped to cut my 3yo son's hair even though they aren't a kids salon. They were great at calming his nerves and introducing their equipment to him before they started cutting. Service was quick and efficient. Saw quite a few kids come here for cuts. Will be back!

1st. impressions goes a long way from a wave to the barber which led to his barber chair and yes, barber... Lou, so much I can say of this well rounded man, from a hair cut, a great conversation starter and a Navy Man. There is so much more I can say but if I did you may not stop in and meet him and the barbers, Great Guys! Ladies, stop in and get a trim I did.

A week after getting my haircut here I felt like something was off. Just looked like my haircut was lopsided. Walked in and cee Jay sat me down and fixed it without hesitation. Great guy and happy with my hair now.

Visited the barbershop for the first time today for a haircut and a beard trim. The atmosphere was super chill and friendly. Luis did an amazing job and I will definitely be going back. Make sure you have cash!
