Bad experience with this venue for a recent event we had at Golden Rule Event Center. The owner/manager is unprofessional and there are extra charges imposed that are not stated in contract. We had communication issues with owner/manager Jenny Davis weeks leading up to our event. Miscommunication issues from Golden Rule, lack of documentation on information in contract, extra charges day of event, and no event center staff member on site at the time for our event. She changed what we verbally discussed day before our event, and is deducting extra charges from our deposit. We paid all our venue fees to Golden Rule before event. Paid and brought everything we needed to use for our wedding reception. They will no longer get my business nor sending any referrals.

It's located off Ellington Pkwy/Briarville Rd behind Goodpasture. It's a clean, spacious building with lots of parking. Good for birthday parties, graduation parties, baby showers, and wedding receptions. Reasonably priced, call for details
