Story

Golden Rule Remodeling & Design Inc. creates an enjoyable design-remodel process for all clients and has been remodeling homes in Salem and surrounding areas since 1975. Clients can have confidence in the firm’s longevity, commitment to client satisfaction, quality of design and craftsmanship. Specialties include kitchen and bathroom remodeling, room additions, interior makeovers, deck additions and whole house remodeling.

Design. Remodel. Enjoy. What does that mean? Our process begins with a complimentary visit to your home. If you find our process one that meets your needs, we then design the most functional space possible within the designated budget. Construction is completed efficiently with thorough management and craftsmanship. Working with expert designers ensures that details are complete before construction begins. Lastly, our five year warranty, which far exceeds the one year warranty required by the Construction Contractors Board, encourages clients to call with future questions or concerns. Our professional staff makes sure our clients get the excellent service they need and deserve.

To share our passion for design with the community, our designer teaches "classes for fun" with Chemeketa Community College and writes an article in our local newspaper filled with design tips. The Golden Rule Team also participates in volunteer opportunities within the Salem and surrounding areas. Our wonderful community has been very supportive of our firm through the years and we enjoy opportunities to return the kindness.
