Just got my first tattoo here and had a great experience! The place is clean and welcoming, the staff are really friendly and helpful, and the tattoo looks amazing! I got my tattoo done by Emily. She’s an apprentice, but you’d never know that. Her work is incredible and beautiful. She is an amazing artist. I love my tattoo so much!! I can’t wait to go back and get more from her. The shop is clean, has a fun environment and they play good music! I’d highly suggest checking this shop out for your next tattoo! First time was great it was just a walk in. I liked the artist and all but the second time not so much. I scheduled a session a full week later for a bigger tattoo and it really should of been a one day session but after two hours he was like oh I have another appointment cost me $400. I didn't like that to much but what could I do. So I scheduled two weeks out and the day of my appointment he messages me telling me he double booked and canceled my appointment like a hour before i was suppose to be there. Dude you had two weeks to work it out. So for walk in its great but for appointment tattoos atleast with my guy it's a no go. Going to another shop to finish the work. If I need to call 24 hours before a session to cancel or I lose my deposit then the artist needs to be held for the same responsibility.Service: Tattoos

The window says “we’re nice”, I wonder what happened in order for them to have to put that up. I noticed as another client was leaving the staff immediately starting making disparaging comments about the clients request. Yeah maybe the request was strange but do you have to make the whole shop hear the negative comments? They came to you because they trust you, less than favorable man that sucks. The artists are really passive aggressive towards each other, I’m not sure they like each other? I wish I could like this place, but unfortunately I won’t be coming back… certainly some talent in the shop but just doesn’t feel right after how they acted… Save your money and purchase artwork for your body from artists that actually care.. :

It was my second time at Golden Rules Tattoo, but my first time having a tattoo completed with Bare. I sent Bare the idea of what I was wanting and he exceed my expectations of the tattoo. Tianna is truly an artist. She did a memorial piece for my mom and I was nervous that nothing would feel "good enough", but she blew me away. The lines, the color, the shading, the little details - it's amazing. I can't stop admiring my new tattoo. The colors she chose go so well together, and the little highlights really make it pop. It feels like the product of a lot of skill and a little magic too.
