GolfTEC Dublin

I cannot recommend highly enough Golftec Dublin in general, and my coach Joe Stago in particular for the unbelievable and spectacular improvement in my golf swing. I've played bad golf my whole life because my swing mechanics were all wrong. I finally decided to seek professional help and it's been one of the best decisions I've ever made. I now feel like I not only understand the mechanics of the proper golf swing, but I have confidence that I can consistently execute it. In addition, I feel able to troubleshoot my swing when shots aren't the best. The video images, the numerous swing metrics, and of course the top-notch coaching instruction has made a world of difference.

I reached out to Tom Clifford after my golf clubs had been destroyed by Southwest Airlines. Tom quickly set me up with a full bag fitting and was able to help me pick a great new set of sticks. Tom was extremely accommodating and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend him or the other staff members for your fitting. The facility was clean, inviting, and has a ton of awesome golf gear!

Joe Stago has been an excellent golf instructor. From the time I began instruction, to today, is a night and day difference. While the instruction has obviously helped my golf mechanics and swing, the biggest thing that Joe has helped with is my confidence on the golf course. Instead of feeling anxious of every shot, I can now approach each and every shot with the confidence that I can make a good shot, or at the very least minimize the bad shots. I am looking forward to continuing working with Joe, and further improving my golf game.

I have been taking lessons from GolfTEC for about 8 months now and my game is unrecognizable from what it was. I came in a fairly long hitter of the ball but with mediocre to bad consistency shooting mid to high 80s with a miserable short game. Since taking lessons my swing looks completely different and I shot my career best 67. I am truly impressed with their approach to teaching using known methods and tour averages for comparison. My coach Joe is fantastic, and the entire staff is really helpful and has great insight and advice. I highly recommend GolfTEC for any golfer of any handicap.

I went to check out irons. Tom measured my performance on swing speed, launch angle, back spin, descent angle, distance and ball accuracy. Then Tom had me try three different 7 irons and compared the results. This is a low pressure, scientific analysis. Considering the cost of clubs, this is the best investment I have made in years! I only wish I had done this years ago.! Next I will do the hybrids, then the driver and wedges.

I have been taking lessons at GolfTEC for well over 10 years. I have made tremendous progress in my game--all parts of it. My handicap has dropped over 10 points. My confidence continues to grow. I have won and/or placed in a number of competitive events. I think the reason I continue to go is the personal approach and interest of the coaches I have had. The video is useful and I love the golf simulator! We have a foursome that is playing at least twice a month, keeping us ready for the golf season. GolfTEC nationally and locally is a sponsor of our local EWGA Chapter. GolfTEC supports helping Women to play and enjoy the game of golf.

Working with Joe Stago over the past 3 months has been great learning experience about my golf swing. I have increased my yardage on every iron by over 20 to 30 yards and my drives have increased by 40 yards, with much greater consistency. Helping me the most on my short game around the green.

I started working with Eric Theilson just over a year ago as a fairly new golfer and am improving weekly! I met all my goals this past summer with higher ones this year and with his great patients I know I can achieve! Most important he is a great young man and my favorite time of the week is my golftec time!

I've taken lessons with Joe Stago at Golftec since 2015. My understanding of the golf swing has greatly increased. The facilities are excellent. Not only can you take lessons but also can use bays for independent practice. The bays are equipped with cameras to tape you swinging from two angles. You are really able to inspect your swing. The Foresight launch monitor shows the flight of the ball with range mode and golf course mode. There is lots of data regarding the shot you just hit and shot history, launch angle, decent, spin, clubhead speed, ball speed, carry etc. Short clips of myself during my lessons are accessible on their website. On the same website are drills and notes from my lessons. This all gives me a game plan and tools for improvement. It's a process. Many reps are needed. The golf course simulator with floor that tilts/adjusts for lye angle is very nice too. So then, Golftec offers great instruction, great facilities and much opportunity to have a foundation for improving your golf game. It's a process and you have to practice...... a lot......and then results. No magic.

I have truly enjoyed the lessons I have taken at GolfTec Dublin. All staff have been courteous and polite. My instructor Joe Stago has used a multi media approach to help me find deficiencies in my game, and helped me to correct sway, plain, tempo, and face angle. I plan on using GolfTec now and into the future.
