I am what some call a THRIFTER. OK. I do love shopping at Goodwill Stores and especially this one. I have been shopping here over 15 yrs and today was a great day for shopping. Although,, today is Sunday, there is still a good selection. I usually buy dresses. However, I have purchased men and children clothes. I prefer this store because the items are neatly organized. clothes are on hangers and the store is clean. If I have a big event coming up, I head to this Goodwill. casual wear, formal, after five, shoes and swimwear. Today I bought 2 casual wear dresses sold by VENUS and 1 black skirt sold by TALBOTS. Dresses at $6.50 ea. and the skirt discounted at ,$2.37. Since I am losing weight, I can experiment with different sizes.
Polite staff. This location is much better than the one across town. However still has most of the items in the store very dirty and uncared for. I found several items for sale that were broken. After driving around it seems goodwill lack in this area period compared to other places across the us. Seems to be more of a neglectful higher management team.
Love this location! They always have stuff in my size and tend to have a few hidden gems, if you look hard enough!
They have lots of weird stuff to poke through and look at. Good selection of furniture, too. The store is kept quite clean and the people working there are nice.
The 2 wannabe law enforcement Goodwill employees working this morning should focus more on whatever they're getting paid to do. I didn't realize I didn't realize standing around b*#%!ing because you don't agree with my choice of parking was what your wages covered. Well, I didn't put anyone to work today and tomorrow either. Since they wanted to take their complaints about me to customers coming in the store. All I can say is, their customer service this morning was below poor. And had I been a different person, I may have made a scene instead of just leaving. It just annoyed me. But I don't have to shop here.
This location is one of my favorites for shopping because it's closest to the areas I often shop at regularly. It is relatively clean and organized with a large assortment of items to chose from. I love books and the fact they also have the job services located here is great Staff is friendly and helpful. They never forget to greet you upon entering the premises.
Manager was very ugly to me after I asked him why is he talking ugly to me said he was calling the cops I said no I will cuz you won't get out of my face when you're talking ugly to me bottom line we Banned Me from the store after I've spent thousands of dollars I've been going in there for years so he got rewarded for being ugly to me
I went thru some of the negative reviews and just wanted to post my own. I used to work here a while ago, so I may have been one of the cashiers talked about in some of these reviews. What customers don’t know is the behind the scenes and I’m sure customers don’t care either as long as they can get a deal. Goodwill does not treat their employees good at all. If you’re not management, you can hang everything up. Especially trying to work your way up within the company as well. Employees don’t smile because that place drains them of their life force every single day. And don’t say, “if you don’t like your job, go find another one.” It’s not always that simple. And that’s simple minded of people to think about employees of a company. You can be the best employee in Goodwill, and still get fired over something so minuscule. It’s a lot of favoritism around there and if you’re not conforming to their standards of employees, then you’re just getting overlooked, picked on, and talked about by the management team. As a former employee, IF I happen to stop in the store to look or shop, I will never round up again. Those donations go to the Job Connection to help people get back to work, but Goodwill regular hourly employees barely get a livable wage for the hours that they have to work. That is all.
Some staff were nice but the ONE stocking with red hair was very mean and rude. Very unprofessional not kind at all she told me to leave her rack alone and also told me to be quiet when I tried to tell her that she didn't need to be so rude and unkind. I tried to notify manager but no one picked up. This store does have nice stuff and pretty decent with pricing.
I live very close to the Goodwill on Decker. But I don't go there that often because there is always something a little off there. So I stopped for over a year and a half. Usually cashiers are nice the management is nice but there's this one supervisor around 12:30 noon big black lady with the braids. It's always something with her. The price is always different, than what I get at the other Good will. This time Tuesday I showed my ID she said I don't get a discount because the items already discounted, on sale. She said. "The computer won't even let me do that". That is not true because I just came from the St. Andrews store and the manager rang me up. The discount came up as it did for the other seniors who shop there. As a matter of fact the the associate on the floor, went out of her way to let people know that they could get a discount on the sale items. I go to Goodwill about 4 times a week. At the St Andrews store, very nice and professional. I will write a positive review for them here and at their site. But this supervisor at Decker, it's always an attitude or something. One time the items that were 50¢ on a Saturday and Sunday. I was told it was no longer on sale it goes off at 5:30 pm. They were restocking and changing the sale for tomorrow. And it closes early on Sunday so she didn't want to give the discount after 5:30 pm that's ridiculous. The store closes on Sunday at 6pm. Am in line 5:24pm That's just bad customer service. The sale is the sale, until the store closes. She just makes up random stuff, cuz she doesn't want to go through the hassle of ringing it up. Or having the wrong price signs up. If she would have just apologize or said it was a mistake it be no big deal. This time I said:' I just came from Goodwill, and the discount was put in. She didn't believe me so I just left the item. But I have a copy of the receipt. And there's never been a problem getting a senior discount there on Tuesday. On sale items. This is not her private store this is a national chain. So we know what the sale prices are supposed to be. So I don't mind driving way out of my way to go to a place where there's great customer service; then to go to one that doesn't give that. Even though it's 2 minutes from my house. She'll be happy to know that I will not be shopping there any longer. Notthing's going to change, but I get to keep my money so it's all good.
