Gorilla Pools resurfaced our pool deck and replastered the pool in 2017. The job looked fabulous and we were elated. Cory presented several remodel options and we made our choices. It was fascinating watching the crew work. We maintained all surfaces as instructed and the pool water has never been out of balance. In 2020, we had two sections of cool deck resurfaced by Daniel at Gorilla Pools as it was lifting. We're now five years out from the original install. Every section of cool deck is lifting. Some sections are worse than others. The product isn't standing up well to sun, water, or shade. Where it's not lifting, it still looks quite good. But we didn't call for additional cool deck repair because it seemed like it would be a never-ending cycle until the warranty expired. We spotted cracks in the pool plaster and tile this weekend. The cracked tile is a couple years old, but the crack in the pool plaster is new. We were hoping this work would last longer than five or six years. We were also expecting that pool deck coating technologies were more fully developed. There are now enough spots where the cool deck has lifted, that we're watching our pool deck dissolve a little more with each rain shower. And for the record, do not walk across the dissolved cool deck material with bare feet. Ouch! All the work done by Gorilla Pools is gorgeous. It's just not holding up, that's all.

After meeting with several pool remodeling companies and receiving their quotes, I went with Cory at Gorilla Pools. I had a fairly extensive pool remodel: plaster & tile chip out, new return lines, suction line for the vac installed, new skimmer to replace the old cracked one, auto filler installed, new LED pool light, new pebble surface, and new edge tile. My pool is an older one and much larger than newer play pools, so I asked Cory to put lap lane tile markers in too! The crews work hard and they know what they’re doing. Everything came out great! We had a few issues with schedule during these crazy covid-19 times. But Cory made some concessions on the price to compensate – and without me having to ask! That kind of ethic alone should tell you to call him first for your pool work.
