I decided not to buy anything. I was in there for about 5 minutes, decent little place, but the whole time there the guy working was basically boasting about how much money he can make if he were to sell his stuff on eBay to what I assume is another customer. Didn't say hi to me, no acknowledgement, no "hey how's it going". Just not my atmosphere.
Small spot right on the main road. New release wall. Small back issue spanning silver,bronze and modern. Owner seems to be using the space to the best of his ability. Most issues I observed were in decent shape 7.0-9.0. Action figures, pops, small used retro video game section in one of the cases. Clean, Organized, and moderately priced.
I found this place on Google, drove 20 min to get there and this address was a generic party store, no comic store. I called the number during open hours and no one answered. Maybe they closed up shop? I really needed last minute gifts for 2 kids but luckily I found another store Wise Guys Toys down the road which was great & I ended up spending $400+ there lol so I guess mission accomplished! Just posting so others don’t drive to this address!
I edited my original review. I just visited the store and had a great experience. The owner was awesome. The store looked great. Definitely recommend. Will come back again!
Highly recommend it, real cool spot! Needed to kill sometime while I waited for my car to be fixed. I decided to take a look at Gotham comics and wow, I couldn't help but love the place. There's a nostalgic factor about the store, I saw a few toys, comics, and models I remember seeing as a kid, I had a good conversation with someone to work there. I ended up walking away with a few comics and a toy I always wanted. It should look real cool at my desk at work. I can't recommend it enough and I can't wait to go back and pick something else up. Thanks for the awesome experience
My fiance and I have recently been on a comic book binge. We have gone from comic book store to comic book store only to be halfway impressed with both the staff and the selection. All of that changed when we came across Gotham Comics. It was only three days in between our first trip to the shop that we couldn't wait to go back and get more comics. Both times we went, we received an amazing customer treatment. It was yesterday's visit that really made us feel appreciated and wanted at the store. After meeting and talking with the great staff and owner Jameson, we cannot wait to go back! Truly an amazing shop with a great selection and an awesome vibe! Would definitely recommend to everyone looking for a great comic shop experience!
Super awesome experience! I was shopping for a gift and am not very knowledgeable on comics, so the man working was so helpful! Great prices and awesome store layout, super easy to find the series I was looking for!
My first time going in the store was not good. The owner or worker keep giving dirty looks and keeping an eye on me the whole time I was there. Another person walked he talked to him and helped him out. I asked if they had a venom comics because I saw two in the back but not the one I was looking for and the owner or worker bushed me and flat out said no without checking or looking on the computer. Don't know what the guy problem was. I was shopping with my daughter to get my brother a birthday present and I walked out of there with nothing and just a horrible experience
I've been going to the store for almost two years now pretty much since it opened. They have a great selection of comics from Mavel/DC to indy creators. I always have a lot of fun talking comics and just seeing what's new there. There's two free arcade machines which is fun for both kids and adults. It has a cool mix of comics, horror, and collectibles. Think of it like walking into an old record store in the 90's. I've been into comics for about 23 years. Check it out. I think anyone would enjoy it.
Amazing selection of comics and action figures. The employees are extremely knowledgeable about everything in the store and comic history. I love the atmosphere and would def recommend stopping here!
