There is no way of contacting her. She is unreachable by phone, voicemail full. The website appointment form does not work. After filling all the fields as a new client it doesn't accept appointment requests and denies submission. Really needs to get that fixed.
It is my opinion that Vanessa Graff is unprofessional, egocentric, and overall does not endeavor to uphold a any moral ideal of her clients. She pushes her own opinions and seems to be restricted by her own personal experiences. On more than one occasion she told me I was not “woke enough to understand.” Her Worldly views condemned religion and instead of her office being a location of a mutual respect, I felt judged for my decision to wait to have sex before marriage. Her response was that me and my future husband should be “going at it like rabbits.” Totally disrespectful, demeaning, and unprofessional. We eventually saw another counselor and are thankful for the guidance, respect and professionalism that directed us to a healthy and wholesome marriage.
After her 1st appointment my wife came home and said that she had hope again, that maybe she could get help and maybe her life could be better. Her 2nd appointment was exactly like the 1st, the doctor couldn't remember her name didn't realize she had an appointment and ask her all of the same questions family history in medication history again wrote it all down. The 3rd appointment was exactly the same same questions wrote it all down again. My wife paid in cash at every appointment, but after the last one we received a bill for services so we paid her twice her last appointment. So are out $400 for 3 repeat appointments and a handful of generic advice that you basically get on the Internet when you type in I have depression and my wife lost all hope again and it'll be at least a year and a 1/2 maybe 2 years before I get her to seen anybody again for anxiety attacks. Just another in a long list of disappointments in the mental health industry in the city. She apparently has more important things to worry about than her patients, their names, their history, and her books.
I've been seeing Vanessa for several years after going through a divorce. She has been really helpful in working through emotions, and adjusting to a new phase of life. I highly recommend her!
I happily recommend Vanessa to anyone and everyone. She's intelligent, nonjudgemental, and easy to talk to.
