Gramercy Park Dental

This place should be shut down. For a dentist on the east side on NYC the dentist here has hired the rudest, and disrespectful office manager I have ever encountered. They fight and scream at you when you have a question, and if you try to make an appointment good luck! I needed to write this review to ensure that future clients find a new dentist. The worst

This place gets pretty good reviews so when I chose it to get two crowns one replaced and one new I relied on them. I had 2 root canals done at this practice last summer 2021 which were done pretty well by someone who is a visiting doctor can't remember his name. I found him on Cigna website. He suggested Dr. Glenn Holloway as someone who supposedly is highly skilled in crowns so I went with him. Dr. Holloway seemed knowledgeable and when he did my crowns last summer I didn't realize that I had a pretty bad discomfort chewing on that side afterwords. Due to my hectic schedule where I was traveling a lot in the Fall 2021 I wasn't been able to go back to check what was wrong. In December 2021 I was visiting Moscow Russia when I got toothache so I went to a dental clinic to check on it. There I was told that the two crowns I had recently done were too short on the inside and didn't cover both teeth creating a visible gap between the crown edge and the base of the tooth/gum. Not only this created a room for infection since food was getting constantly stuck in that gap but also I could feel it with a tong the edge was sharp and felt like both crowns were not sized properly. I basically had to re-do both crowns and when one of the crowns was removed the dentist found pretty bad decay that wasn't properly cleaned so he had to also remove decay and build up the tooth so that he could mount a new crown. Overall, I was pretty upset with whole ordeal as I had to pay for the same two crowns twice and also that my experience with dr. Holloway was so terrible. I can't recommend this doctor to anyone.

Been a patient here for years and never had a problem. Well, once I had to wait about an hour, but it was explained to me they had a variety of emergencies. I know how that sounds but frankly, they have taken me in as an emergency as well. I have worked with three of the dentists and all are super. The staff is personable and easy to talk to. Very happy to have found them. Needed to return during covid days. Felt safe and comfortable with procedures and handling of restrictions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Glenn Holloway for over 20 years. He is highly skilled, professional, personable and caring. I find the staff to also be helpful and friendly at all times. I highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for a new dental service.

Rachel the Hygienist. You need her more than you know. Don't think. Call. Now. I have been a patient at Gramercy Dental for almost 15 yrs and only have the highest praise for Dr. Holloway and Dr. Cohen, the dental hygienists, and the receptionists. Both my doctors have been gentle, thorough and careful. I used to live in the neighborhood but the office is easily reached from where I live now on the UWS. I have never waited more than 15 mins for an appt., and they have accepted all the insurances I've had over the years. Yes, make an appointment.

I have been a patient here for about 20 years. When my employer decided to offer a dental plan, I made sure we chose one that Gramercy Park Dental participated in. When a new employee asks about a dentist, I always recommend Gramercy Park and Doctor Holloway. The service has always been good. Dr. Holloway listens to my concerns and answers my questions in an understandable way. I was very glad that when my employer decided to change carriers that Gramercy Park participated in the current plan. I don't want to have to find another dentist.

I’ve been going to Gramercy Dental for the past 15 years. The staff is professional and caring and my Dentist is very gentle. Key word here, “Gentle”.

This dentist office is nice and homey with really friendly staff, and I was pleasantly surprised to see they have TVs in every room to distract you. I got some x-rays done and a cleaning, they were training a young lady to work the machines at the same time and they were both super nice. The staff at the front desk helped explain what was covered and not covered by my insurance and got my papers ready for a surgeon I was being referred to. I also go see the optometrist that shares the office space, both are great!

I have been a patient at Gramercy Park Dental for more than 20 twenty years, and my wife and daughter have attended for half that time. Courteous and cordial staff are most accommodating, and call you for service at the appointed time promptly. Dentists there are all very competent and honest. It would be hard for me to go elsewhere. First class organization.
