Gramma's Attic

Paula is very sweet. Prices have gone up with this thrift store, but I feel like the quality of items that they are selling is higher. My only complaint is I was clothes shopping there and I had a budget in mind, so I referred to the price list that they had on their wall where the clothes were and when I went to pay, the clothes were marked up 50%. I paid it, because they went above and beyond being helpful with me; but I will definitely keep that in mind the next time I am shopping there for clothes.

Really amazing selection of stuff (almost like an antique store rather than a thrift store), good prices, great ladies that work there!! The owner is such a cool and nice woman, really passionate about preserving history and sharing her finds with others! She and the original owner of Grama's attic will usually have a story to tell about every item in the store, just ask and they'd be happy to share! One of my absolute favorite stores in Grand Forks, it truly is a treasure trove.

Bad customer service, shady price changes when purchasing. Had to return an item as it didn't work, Paula was argumentative about the item not working. Finally got a refund after she continuously told me I'm wrong. This was my first time in the store and with my bad experience I won't go back. Business not worth patronizing.

Rude owners. Over priced and unwilling to negotiate. Changed prices on us when we went up to pay and asked for more money.

Rude shopkeeper. Attempted to change the price on me after we already agreed upon the sale price. This is the second time I've visited and had a poor experience. Additionally while shopping she treated another customer poorly and laughed him out of the store when trying to haggle on prices. I WOULD NOT recommend this shop if you're looking for a pleasent shopping experience.
