Grand Blanc Senior Citizens

The venue itself is very cute and the set up is amazing. However, the staff is rude and unreliable. We have a contract that states that we could put decorations on the walls that was provided and signed by their staff. 2 weeks prior to the wedding, we were told -after purchasing decorations and having a layout that they were changing their policy and we could no longer put decorations up on the walls. The day of the ceremony we show up to the front parking lot being blocked off. It was an eyesore with orange blockades and barriers across the front of the venue. Our caterers and our DJ had to park in a separate parking lot and walk all of their stuff around the building. It was inconvenient for both set up and tear down. When the director was contacted she said that she apologized to the bride and that they couldn't do anything about it because the building was still accessible. Accessible, yes-convenient no. Their hours of operation on their website are listed and after 4 attempts to return their property all within their operating hours, I was basically told that they were there and that their phones wouldn't go to voicemail until 4 p.m. which they weren't. I think that their venue is super cute and functional IF they don't have blocked off parking lots. It is their staff that is the issue. I would not recommend this venue for an event that you want to run smoothly and be able to plan ahead of time.

Great place to get some competition on the table tennis table: exercise and fun all in one, cannot beat it!

Very helpful. Great environment for seniors. Plenty of activities and extensive library. Computer room available.

Our family meets there on Christmas Day. It's a perfect place to share dinner, fellowship, and fun.
